This might be long...
First off, the nurse remembered me. She had been such a sweetie the last time. So when she got me into my room, she said, "I'm so glad you decided to try again right away." We made small talk, I peed in a cup, she left to administer the test. After a few minutes, she popped her head back in the room and asked if I was feeling okay, if I had any spotting or cramping, etc. I told her I was fine. I knew she was asking because the line was probably faint on the test, but I had the pic of my digi if they questioned it. So she left the room, and I waited.
The first thing my doctor did upon entering the room was hug me and say, "You're pregnant!" Then she said that because of my history she wanted to order my beta hCG and hemoglobin. I asked if she would add progesterone to the order. She said she would do it if it eased my mind because she wanted me to relax and enjoy this pregnancy.

So I said, "Yes, please add it to the order." She said that it probably won't tell us anything because it will most likely be a good level since I am in fact pregnant. However, this will give us a baseline. So if I start spotting or have cramping, I can come back or go the ER and they can check my levels again to see if things are looking okay.
Then she told me that the test was a pretty faint positive, and she asked if I had gotten + on HPTs. I laughed and said, "On four different brands, including a digi!" Then I told her that I was only 11 DPO, and she said, "Well that explains why it's so faint."
She said we *might* get the beta results back tomorrow. So she wants me to call her office in the afternoon to see if the results have come back. If not, I'll have to wait until Monday. I asked if she would have me go back to the lab on Monday for a second beta draw. She said she hadn't planned on it, but that, again, if it eased my mind, she would do it.
After we talk about my initial results, she'll determine when I go back in for the second beta. She recommended next Wednesday, just because it's so early now. She also said that if I have any spotting or cramping at all to call her. Regardless of what my progesterone levels look like today, she'll get me on supplements.
So I feel really, really good about the appointment. I'm leaving in just a few minutes to go the lab. I stopped to get lunch first, since they'll be taking 8 vials of blood! That's it for now, but hopefully I'll have more info tomorrow... or Monday at the very least.
