As I sit here in the living room I can't help but watch this horrible show my DH has been taping (DVR whatever). It's called "Call of the Wildman". Don't get me wrong, I'm laughing but holy cow is this show stupid. This guy "turtle man" catches all of these random wild critters and one time he bathed in a plastic tote filled with rain water, tomato juice and potatoes. I give DH a hard time because he's from Kentucky (even though I'm a hoosier and it's just as bad) and that's where this guy is from.....the hills of Kentucky. OH DEAR LORD he was just bit by a snake. I feel my IQ dropping.....

My husbands TV hobbies are not TV shows. He drives me crazy with video games. Between my DD watching Dora and DH playing the PS3 I never watch anything. Which is fine I would rather read than watch something on TV. Still there both a little much sometimes. =)

LMAO, hey now...Im from Kentucky! Where is he from? I am very Northern Kentucky, about 5 mins from downtown Cincinnati OH.

Trevor watches Snapped and a lot of those crime scene shows (that are real, not CSI or anything). I don't mind watching them every now and then but I like watching my fake comedy and drama shows much more. He also loves Workaholics and Tosh.

I knew you'd get me for that one haha! He's from a town called Owensboro, it's really close to the river near Evansville I believe.

We pretty much have the same taste in shows, so he doesn't watch too much that I don't also enjoy. However... he got hooked on 90210 right away because it's so completely generic. I'm embarrassed to say that my manly husband is addicted, but he totally is.

My DH watches that show and other shows on Discovery and the Science Channel. Not all of them are stupid but they sure are boring!

Ancient Aliens....or anything UFO or alien related. Sometimes it's not so bad, but a lot of them talk about the same stuff over and over.
Otherwise we enjoy the same stuff, thank God for DVR so he can watch his alien stuff when I'm busy

I have heard of Owensboro and Evansville for some reason so I googled it and it says its almost 4 hours away. I want to say my high school played football against them in state maybe???? I could be totally making that up...haaaa!

Just for fun ask him if he has ever heard of Ft. Thomas or Highlands Bluebirds (that was my high school).

I think a few of the shows i like bug DH waaaay more than any shows he likes. Sometimes he gets enthralled with that "how things are made" (not sure if that's actual name) on discovery or history channel, and that can get old quickly unless it's something you've always wondered "how IS that made?)

For the most part we like the same stuff, but Adam just LOVES cheesy kung fu movies! So a few times a year I agree to watch one with him.... last week we watched Drunken Master. I putzed on my laptop and rolled my eyes a lot!

CARISSA!!!! DH even has DS in love with the Turtle Man! I can't watch it very long. They both love watching anything on Animal Planet. DH also likes all the stupid drama of the reality shows which I also can't stand (ie. Kardashians, Basketball Wives, etc). Its so redundant

I just asked him, he said he hasn't heard of either. He played football for Apollo. It was worth a shot!

Turtle Man LOL. I just can't get over it. Justin used to watch the Housewives of somewhere haha I'm not sure which city. He also watched some sort of show like that with all stay at home husbands. He DVRs lots of things from Animal Planet. We watched one about River Monsters that completely creeped me out!
