So AF arrived today...
After my first loss I was devastated when she first showed. I cried... okay I sat in bed and sobbed. But this time I'm so excited to be moving forward again. I called the OB's office to set up my appointment for the HSG to look at my uterus. I'll be doing that Monday morning. If nothing shows up on that then we're cleared to just try again with progesterone supplements. I'm hoping and praying that that will get us our rainbow baby...
Plus I had a great day yesterday. I had my wedding dress picked out, but I had to get another one because it was a maternity gown (I would have been about 25 weeks). So yesterday my mom and my sister and my little niece and I had a day out. We went to the bridal place first and I got to try on a bunch of beautiful gowns. I lucked out because my first choice was also the cheapest! And then we spent the rest of the day Christmas shopping. Having my niece around has been so cleansing for me. It's really helped me feel hopeful again and remember why I'm going through all this and why it's worth it.
I'll try to post a picture of my dress when I get home from work later...

Okay so the only image I can find online of my dress is the back... but that's the best part anyway! It's strapless and has beading matching the back down one side... I'm so excited because Adam really loves the corset look. Plus it give me a little wiggle room to lose some weight!
Okay found the website with both so you can see front and back bigger...

Yes, GORGEOUS. I love the corset look in the back, like you mentioned, and the way the back splits open to reveal a pattern.

Becky, I'm so glad you are feeling like you are in a good place right now. My reaction to my second miscarriage was very similar to yours. With my first, I was so completely devastated, and I remember sobbing uncontrollably until I had no tears left. With my second, of course I was sad, but it was different. I just felt super determined to move on and find my happy ending. Your dress is beautiful! I hope we both have our rainbow babies soon!
