At this point I was only testing b/c DH didn't want me to give up. I used my last test this morning with FMU and got a line almost immediately. It's faint and on a blue dye test but I'm 95% certain that it's a positive! I asked DH to pick up another test on his way home so I can test again tomorrow morning and see if the line gets darker. I am crossing my fingers and praying that this is it.

*Update*

I guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up too soon. Not only did I get a BFN, I also appear to have gotten AF, even though it wasn't expected until Monday. I guess this isn't my month. I'm really disappointed but I think deep down I am also relieved. I would have been due 10 days after my EDD with Angel if I had gotten pregnant this cycle and the whole idea was very sad to me. We won't be able to tell DH's parents in person now when we do succeed since they live 1700-ish miles away (we are visiting them for Christmas), but life goes on. Here's to next month:

I think I knew this was going to happen. I got my faint BFP really late after O and then started cramping last night. I don't want to say the two words that are floating at the back of my mind but I am thinking of going to the dr. to see if I'm right.

Maybe over the holidays we won't actively try (no OPKs, etc). Maybe reducing expectations will make it easier.

Oh my goodness, that sounds like it's truly positive, but you're scared to let your hopes get the best of you. PIC!

Thanks ladies. I hope we all get our sticky BFPs soon. Maybe we'll see lots of post-holiday BFPs in January. I'm trying to be positive - if I get my sticky bean next month, I should have my rainbow baby just days before my birthday. I couldn't ask for a better birthday present than that.

I'm really sorry! To be honest, it sounds exactly like what I experienced with my 2nd m/c, a chemical. I got the really faint lines at CD 23, but started spotting the very next morning. I kept getting faint positives on the pregnancy test until about five days later, when my body definitely let me know it was a miscarriage. If you are worried, I'd see your doctor. Definitely see them if you are RH negative. The early losses are such a new thing... our parents didn't have to grieve nearly as many losses as us because they couldn't find out about the pregnancies as early as we can now. It really is a catch 22 if you ask me. I'm so sorry this wasn't your month.
