Super excited to get a positive OPK today - thought it was positive on a cheapie test and backed it up with a digital. But now I'm wondering....does that make tomorrow my O day? Will I be 1dpo tomorrow or on Friday?

DH and I DTD on Monday night, and then I basically mauled him this afternoon around 1pm after getting the positive OPK. Hopefully will DTD tomorrow sometime and Friday as well to cover our bases.

As a reminder, I had a m/c just 16 days ago. I understand that most doctors want you not to try the first cycle, and that maybe (despite the positive OPK) I won't actually O. Nonetheless, I can't let a month go by without at least trying. What would I do with all of my time if I weren't obsessing about TTC?

Thanks for your advice.

i'm not the best with OPKs...I think once you get the + you could O anytime in the next 12-24 hours (maybe even 48 hours?). I got in habit of taking OPK both in AM & PM on the day before, on & day after I anticipated Oing so I could try to narrow the window down a little. I counted 1DPO as the next day after I got neg OPK after having positive OPK (keeping in mind that I could get a + in the AM, and the neg in PM on same day, and then the very next day could be 1DPO).

I think if you DTD's Monday, today, tomorrow and Friday you've pretty much covered all of your bases though so I don't think you should worry....good luck to you I hope this is your lucky cycle!!

Your supposed to O 24-48 hours after your last positive OPK. With that being said after a loss your body might gear up to do it and then not actually do it but it's hard to say as everyone's bodies work differently. Sending baby dust your way though

I always have read 12-36 hours after the positive OPK. I dunno for sure. I think you got it covered though. Maybe once more tonight if it makes you feel better I would probably say Friday as 1DPO, maybe even Saturday if you want to give yourself an extra day in the 2WW. LOL.
Good luck!!

to Katie - I have always seen 24-48 hours after the positive, but keeping in mind that your body may not actually "O" after the LH surge, and additionally, you may get multiple +'s because your body might keep gearing up to do it, but not actually succeed in doing it, especially after a loss.

Baby vibes coming your way!!!
