Do you have issues with CM?
Have you ever tried Robitussin or Mucinex?
Did it work?

I was taking Robitussin for a few months and it increased my CM for sure!! But the first time I saw the fertility dr, she told me to stop taking it. So I stopped and got pregnant that month. I dunno if it was a coincidence or not. I'm not taking it this time around for at least a few months. If I don't get pregnant I might try it again later.

I do not seem to have a problem with cm. I always use pressed though just in case.

Do you have issues with CM? Sometimes
Have you ever tried Robitussin or Mucinex? yes
Did it work? not really

I have been going the preseed route for extra measure. Especially since mine dries up before O if I have some. Also, there has been some discussion in the TTC boards that carrots and grapefruit juice help! Haven't tried it yet though.

used honey....oddly, it seemed to work for me. I personally wouldn't use Guaifenesin related products for increasing cm because they are still a medication. And you are supposed to increase your fluid intake while on Mucinex or it can actually end up drying you up too much because it thins the secretions, it doesn't create more. So, it isn't for me...but whatever works for everyone else, that is great! I have no earthly idea why eating the honey helped, but I read it on here and tried it and it really seemed to help. I typically have none these days, and the 2 months I used it, I had quite a lot......so, coincidence? who knows...but honey is yummy, so who cares! haha.

I tried eating raw carrots and it worked! Again, coincidence, who knows, but still good for you!

I tried Mucinex for a while, but I noticed that I was getting a funny odor with the CM so I had to stop. Preseed seemed to work pretty well for us! Since my second pregnancy I haven't needed anything and have had tons of CM...

Sometimes I'm amazed at the information I put out on this site!

I don't have huge issues with CM, and personally won't do medications for off-label TTC purposes. Since getting pregnant is not our issue (it's staying pregnant), I don't worry too much if we have to use a little bit of lubricant. Most of the time if it is around O, we are fine without it.

Preseed works for me BUT my doctor actually told me for some people it can hinder (not sure why) so I did stop that as well.

I tried Mucinex a few times when we were TTC before I didn't get pg either month. I did notice more CM. I take EPO up until O day to help with cm quality. I guess I have enough CM but I think it would help if I had more since I only have one day of EWCM normally. I am thinking of trying the preseed.
