I completely agree. I told DH yesterday that the one upside to our issues is that I don't envision us using birth control for years. Doesn't seem to be much point and we are up for three so...

I liked them because of the no mess afterwards, but I can say that they feel different to me, even though they are not supposed to. We used them for a year while I was in between birth control.

So funny my friend and I JUST talked about this. Since we aren't supposed to be actively trying yet we have to use the "rain coats" as DH so affectionately refers to them. At this stage in my life I really didn't think I'd be asking my husband to go buy condoms! It's just annoying and uncomfortable!

Lara- that totally stinks for you, I'm not sure what I'd do poor DH would probably never get any if we had you use "rain coats" forever. Haha

I'm in the same boat Lara... because of the blood clot I had five years ago no doctor will prescribe hormonal bc for me. When we got pregnant in May we were using sponges and condoms. DF thinks he has bionic sperm! Both of us just hate how the rain coats (hehe) feel, so I think we'll have to use spermicide and just kind of watch our timing. I don't really care if we get pg earlier than February, but it does make sense to wait until we get through the wedding. I guess...

If we could just get our 2 or 3 babies here then DF could get snipped and we just wouldn't have to worry about it!

When the dr told me to use condoms this month my DH was like...uh NO. LOL. I always think about how they tell teens that it feels the same....too bad its a huge lie!! We haven't bought any, and I don't think we will

I don't mind condoms because it's such an easy clean up for me afterwards! Haha but DH hates them. With a passion.
