I've read that taking baby aspirin can help if the lining of the uterus is too thick. alert: I've always has thick, goopy periods. My implantation was late into my LP when I got pregnant and so I'm wondering if Gabriel had a difficult time implanting and that may have contributed to my miscarriage. I've been considering taking baby aspirin to help with that, but I'm also afraid of it making my uterine lining too thin for implantation.

I'm torn between wanting to try things to give my next pregnancy the best chance of success possible while not wanting to change anything because I got pregnant on our first month of TTC.

Have any of you heard of baby aspirin thinning out too much or does it seem to be one of those "can't hurt, but may help" type of deals?

hmm i'm not sure? i'm taking a daily aspirin based on RE recommendation after testing positive for a blood clotting mutation...he didn't mention anything about it being harmful (from a lining thinning perspective) but then RE also plans to give me trigger shot + progesterone to help lining & implantation. As far as I know that's unrelated to the daily baby aspirin, but I'll ask him at next appt...

Some women rush out and get onto baby aspiring because they've read an article stating what you've seen. Unless you've been identified as having a clotting issue, it can be quite dangerous to take aspirin regularly (bleeding heavily, slow clotting times, etc).

However, I have known of women who take a baby aspirin every other day in hopes of creating a slightly in between state.

It really can't hurt to take baby aspirin, but it does make your bleeds a bit heavier.

And you need to make sure you tell a doctor if you become ill or have an accident and need stitches, etc.

I'm on a baby aspirin but mine is also for my clotting disorder. My doctor never said anything about the lining but I'm not sure.

Thanks. I know that my doctor wouldn't really be able to advise me because they don't do testing after one miscarriage and it's basically a judgement call right now. At least I have a full cycle to think about it.
