Hi, Ladies. I've finally made it back home from visiting the in-laws for the holidays. I forgot that they didn't have internet... We had a great visit. DH got to see his family and I got to spend some time with my brothers. We were there for Christmas, New Years, FIL's b-day, and my brother's b-day. I am glad to be back home though - despite the power being out for a couple hours today. Plus, on New Year's Eve, my dad got home from Afghanistan. We're going to drive out to see him next weekend. I am super excited about this new year and can't wait until the 16th, when I plan to test. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for a BFP. That would be a great beginning to the new year.

Good luck with your testing! Sounds like a wonderful visit with your family. And so glad your Dad made it home safely from Afghanistan.

Thank goodness your dad is back. I have a friend who got there about a week ago, and another one who heads that way in a week. Lots of letter-writing for this girl. I'm glad you had so much fun with the family!!

Thanks ladies. I can't wait to test, but I'm being good so far. :-)
Erin - Good luck with the letter writing. I found that Skype is also a good way to stay in touch during deployment. That of course, depending upon where they end up and how often they are outside the wire. I hope it is a quick and uneventful deployment for both of them.
