This is probably more than any of you want to know, but I'm curious and can't seem to find an answer anywhere...

If you bleed a little during sex, for whatever reason (not AF type bleeding), will it affect your chances of conceiving? Would it be bad for the little swimmers?

Kind of a strange question. Thanks in advance!

Never too much TMI here

I don't think that it would hurt your chances. But who knows, even saliva and lube are bad for the spermies.

Thanks, ladies. It was just a little bit. Not sure from where or what. I think things are a bit sensitive since we usually use lube...but of course stopped now that we want that BFP.

I would imagine that the biggest issue would be that if you're dry enough to irritate and cause a little blood then it might make it harder for those little swimmers to make their way up. Have you tried using Preseed? We used it last time we TTC and got pg on the second cycle.

I thought about ordering some Preseed. It's only available online, right?

The thing is, I'm not dry, so I'm not sure what the problem is. At least I don't feel like I'm dry. It doesn't hurt while we're DTD. It started Wednesday when we DTD...I figured the bleeding was because my cervix may have gotten bumped a bit... Then we DTD again last night, and maybe things were still irritated from the night before? I don't really feel sore or like there was too much friction. But who knows, things are different since Riley came outta there and I'm still figuring it out. LOL I think we'll take tonight off.

You can sometimes get it at pharmacy type stores... I believe I got mine at CVS. It may be cheaper to order it online though...

I never had to use lube before I got pregnant... then my chemistry changed just slightly and we had to use it. Now it seems to have flipped back and I don't seem to need it. Our bodies are odd things...

Definitely try Preseed. I got mine at CVS. I think the price is about the same.

I'll have to pick some up. For some reason I didn't realize you could get it at regular old stores.

I agree about trying Preseed. It's great stuff! I believe Walgreens also sells it. If you get it and you still bleed, then I'd talk to your doctor just to see why it might be happening and if there are any solutions.

I don't think it will hurt your chances. Since my m/c's, I've bled more easily during sex. I think mine is related to my cervix just being more sensitive and easily irritated since the m/c's.
