So my doc called this morning and upon further review of the u/s they determined that there is definitely something in my tubes. They gave me two options: 1) surgery which will most likely result in the loss of my tube or 2) methodextrate - which may or may not work since my HCG is higher than they would like (4921 today).
I decided to first try the injection. I was/am little worried that it won't work but I thought I should at least give it a try as it seems much less invasive than surgery.
I am not sure how I am feeling right now. I am a little numb. I also feel yucky because of the injection.
I am on TTC hold until my HCG returns to negative but will try again as soon as we get the all clear.
thanks for your support throughout this ordeal.

I'm sorry. I hope the meds work so you don't have to go through surgery...although I know neither is something anyone would want.

Oh no, I am SO sorry. I had an ectopic back in April and they are really serious, so I'm glad you are at least getting the appropriate treatment. I hope the shot works for you and you don't need any other treatment. :hugs:
