We're officially back in the TTC game now. I'm angry, excited, and terrified all at once. I'm angry that I'm in this position to begin with. I should be 8 wks 2 days. I'm excited that we get to try to have our rainbow baby since I just want nothing more than to be pregnant again. I'm terrified that it'll take us a while to get pregnant again or that I'll have another loss. I know that the chances of a loss are the same as they were before since I've "only" had one, but now that I know what it's like I'm even more afraid of it. I also know that women are typically more fertile for the 6 months after a loss.

Regardless of the fear I'm feeling, a healthy baby is what we both want more than anything, so we'll try again. I've made a lot of changes that I hope will give us a great shot. I just wish I'd asked for the doctor to check my progesterone levels. Those were never checked with my pregnancy so I have no idea if I have a progesterone problem. You can bet that when I get pregnant next time I'm insisting on an early check of my betas (both hCG and progesterone) with additional testing for doubling rates!

Here is my plan with a lot of "can't hurt, may help" actions and everything except the prenatals are new for me:
Daily
Prenatals
Fish Oil capsules (my prenatal doesn't have DHA in it)
baby aspirin
B6 100mg (my luteal phase is apparently only 10 days. I don't think it's long enough.)

Pre-O
Evening Primrose Oil
will get some red raspberry leaf capsules tomorrow to take daily to hopefully prevent the spotting I got and help a bean implant.

What do you think of this plan? I really hope it works!!!

I think you've covered all the bases, my question would be what you intend to do with the aspirin if you conceive. When would you stop taking it?

And, if you like herbs, here's a few suggestions:

If you really want to up the ante, you could add in a light daily tea made from red clover. It's like 4 leaf clover, but the blooms are quite red. If you drink too much it can yield you infertile (but you'd be drinking all day long and excessively to get to that state) but they use it in infertile horses to boost fertility rates.

Susan Weed lists it in her pre-fertility and ttc regimes. It's not too bad.

Nettle is a fab tea to mix with it but Nettle is horrid.

Oatstraw is another really good one, but again, blah.

You can get Red Raspberry Leaf as a dried herb and make it with the red clover and do a daily infusion. It's a really great way to boost your vitamin levels.

Most people don't go the herbal route, but I used it to get my sticky pregnancy, so I hype it like nothing else.

There are loads of articles on it on the net. This is one: Fertility herbs

Thanks ladies! I'm super confused right now! Yesterday morning I had bright red flow and really bad menstrual cramping. I stopped checking in the afternoon because I figured I was surely having AF and would see a lot when I went to bed. Well, between 2pm and 11pm I had not a speck of spotting. Waking up this morning, still nothing. I have no clue what's going on.

Would you still consider yesterday as CD 1 since I had full red flow in the morning or consider it spotting?

I don't know. If it was me, I'd probably still count it as CD1. If I remember correctly, after my third loss, my first AF was very light.

Thanks! I just called my doctor and they said to take a pregnancy test in the morning since we did a pull-out this month so we can rule out pregnancy, then if it's negative to consider it a very light, short period. I'm thinking it's the latter.

Martilynne, you were right! It was CD 1. I decided not to test because my temp went way down, below the cover line, this morning and had been slowly declining before.

I'm so glad for a resolution to that!

CD 3!
