Seriously...there is nothing to see over here...even worse than the 2ww is the wait to ovulate (hey that rhymes! )...and even worse than waiting to O is not even being able to use OPKs (RE's take the fun out of TTC, truly )

I wish I could POAS

p.s. that new ninja emoticon rocks!

well i could...but they'd all be negative at this point. The RE monitors my cycle and on CD12 I go in and if everything looks good I'll get a trigger shot which will accelerate ovulation (i guess?)...and once you take the trigger shot you'll test + on hpts, even though you may not be, until the trigger shot leaves your system entirely (usually 7-10 days).

you ladies crack me up!

I'm CD9 today (so not *that* close) but today is the last day of the 5 day Clomid prescription, so i feel like i'm making progress this cycle...Monday afternoon they'll hopefully see follie big enough to give me the trigger shot and then I'll cross over i guess w/in a day into the official 2ww.

And Marti, yeah i'll probably wait until DPO5 to test it out (seems like a waste, although a fun one, to POAS for the first many days since i'll know it'll definitely still be in my system)...I worry even testing it out that I won't be able to trust a subsequent + b/c there could be differences between test batches/sensitivities....but i'm waaaaay too crazy to wait until RE will want to do a blood test, which is probably like DPO14-15, who can wait that long???
