For the last two days my uterus has hurt...like I'm going to start AF..only a little worse. AF is due on the 29th...could it be cramping this early from AF? I had a bedside procedure after my loss (not a d&c) to remove some placenta that didn't release and I'm really worried that the pain/cramping is from infection. I don't have any other infection symptoms...I feel fine other than the pain and cramping from my uterus. It bothers me more bc I'm in the 2ww. Anyone else experience increased cramping in the months following their loss?

Hmm. I would think if you had an infection, you would have a fever also.

Last pregnancy, my first sign that tipped me off that I was pregnant was AF type cramping starting a week after we DTD.

You might want to call your doctor and see what they have to say, if only for peace of mind.

Since I have an auotimmune disease I rarely run fevers when I should (and I run them when I shouldn't lol)...my body tends to not fight infections well. I figured if it got worse or I developed any other symptoms I'd call...but thought I'd see what you ladies thought.

After my D&C I had a lot of different twinges and pains for the first few cycles. My doctor told me to just be cautious and if I noticed anything else to go in right away. If you notice different colored CM that smells, run a fever, or if the pain is getting worse. If you feel like something is off it's never a bad thing to just get checked out. Please keep us posted.

I too had twinges and pains after my D&Es but I figured that was normal. I think if it's causing you significant pain in bursts and you think there could be an infection, I'd ring the doctor. I have an autoinflammatory disease and always have a 'fever', so it's hard for me to know if it's a real thing vs a body thing.
