I saw my RE and got the test results from my last D&C. She said most of the cells were normal but they found that some had a random chromosomal error. Not one of the common trisomies but just some random misplacement of genetic material.. so I guess in one sense this is good. She said this tells us that this time it was probably bad luck/a fluke. But since she thinks there must be something going on regardless since it's unlikely that all three were flukes, she's rerunning the autoimmune panel we had done in the past (APA, lupus, some other stuff) and adding in a test for ANA (antinuclear antibodies). We decided I'm going to take fragmin in the TWW from now on just in case it IS some autoimmune issue even if these tests come back negative.

So if I'm not pregnant this cycle I'll start cycle monitoring and take progesterone, baby aspirin and fragmin in the TWW. She also said if I get impatient waiting to get pregnant, I can take menopur which is an injectable but I'm not sure I want to go there yet.

Glad to hear your finally getting some answers. Sometimes even though we don't like them it helps with the grieving process and also allows you to help plan for the future. I hope that you get a sticky BFP quickly with this regimen.

I'm sorry that you've had to go through so many losses, but I hope this information and medication are able to lead you to your sticky bfp!

I am so sorry for your losses, and while it is so hard, having some answers will be of help for sure. All the best in getting that sticky bean.

Is the fragmin in injectible form or a tablet? I really hope you get a sticky bfp soon. Lots and lots of luck to you.

Thank you ladies!
It was kind of a relief hearing that it was a genetic error that caused the m/c - so not necessarily my body that was the cause (this time).
Maumama - I thought fragmin only came in injectable form. If it comes in tablet that would be great!

I didn't think it came in a tablet. I was hoping to hear differently! I have been hoping more of the injectibles could become tablets. Makes them cheaper.

Good luck to you guys!

It is a relief to know that it was just a fluke but it can be so frustrating not knowing why. All three of my losses were all different kinds of "flukes". I can definitely understand how you are feeling right now Luckily for me the 4th time was a charm, I am hoping the same for you!

Thank you ladies!!

Martilynne, I'm not sure all of mine were flukes (I hope they were), this was the only one tested. After my second miscarriage, they found a thyroid issue so it's possible that had an effect on the first two. I'm so confused and scared, I just want the next one to be sticky.
