Hi guys! I took a bit of a break from the board, as I was due in Aug and recently found out we lost the baby. After my last m/c (my second) the doctors ran some tests and found that I have a slight blood clotting disorder and was put on baby aspirin. We got our bfp and I continued the baby aspirin and went in for a 10wk u/s and there was no HB (after seeing the HB 10 days prior). I don't think we will be TTC right away but NTNP, we want more solid answers. A miscarriage is hard but 3 in a row (with no answers) makes it harder. We had been waiting to pass the baby naturally but it's taking much longer then expected and I scheduled a D&C (my first), and I'm very nervous about it.

I am sorry for your loss. I had the same due month as you and had to have a D/C last week (11wk) as well. Physically it is not so bad, ask to be sedated/knocked out if you have the option. Emotionally the recovery is hard of course. Feel free to ask me any questions. HUGS

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope that you can find some answers so you can get your sticky BFP. I'm sorry we have to welcome you back but welcome just the same.

I am ss for your loss! I had a similar situation in September, I was due in March and we had seen the hb at around 8w, went in at almost 12 w and the baby had passed just a couple of days after the previous u/s. I had a D&E, the physical recovery is not as bad as the emotional. Let yourself grieve.

Will they be doing chromosomal testing? They did with our 2nd loss and got some answers. I hope they can find answers for you!

HUGS!!!

I hope they will. I have to go in to talk with a doctor and we'll discuss it. I can't imagine they wouldn't considering this is our third loss in a row.

Thanks for the welcome ladies!

I'm very sorry for your loss. I had a D&C in July. Physical recovery was not bad at all for me ... emotional, I am still working through. Thinking good thoughts for you.

HUGS i'm so very sorry for your losses

If you are comfortable sharing, which blood clotting disorder did you test positive for? I recently had the RPL workup done an found that I'm positive for Factor II mutation (hetero) and and mildly abnormal anticardiolipin result. RE has me taking baby aspirin on back half of cycle but I'll be switched to Lovenox injections when confirmed pregnancy occurs....do you see an RE or perinatologist at all or just regular OB?

I am so sorry for your loss. Physically, my D&C was my easiest loss.
