Hello all! I joined this board several months ago, shortly after my 2nd miscarriage. However, I wasn't really emotionally ready. Now, we are starting the TTC process again. I am with a new doctor, and he prescribed progesterone suppositories for me to begin 3 days after ovulation. Has anyone else done this, and what was the result? Thanks!

I don't have any results yet as I'm on my first cycle using them too! Just wanted to say good luck!

I started prometrium supp (200/1x daily) but I start on DPO5...first cycle was a bust but that had nothing to do with the progesterone, we just missed on timing. This cycle I'm more hopeful...I'll go in to get a clean blood draw to check natural progesterone levels on Monday (CD19, we think ~DPO5) and then will start the suppositories that night to continue until i either get + hpt or 10 days/AF starts

Good luck to you, I hope this is your lucky cycle!!

I hope they help you get your sticky bean! I have taken prometrium twice, both times I started 1 DPO and both times I got pregnant and made it to the 2nd trimester.

Thanks for the input! I'm hoping we didn't miss it this month too! My expensive ovulation predictors (the ones with the easy to read smiley faces!) errored out twice. I used a cheap one mid day, and although I have a heck of a time reading the red lines, they both seemed equally dark... which is good, right? So now we wait until sometime around the 7th, to see if we caught one! Thanks for all the well wishes!

Good luck! My doctor wants me to start using progesterone gel - but not until I know I'm pregnant... so I guess I'm waiting about 2 weeks...
