What is one thing you like about your doctor/doctor's office and one thing you dislike?

I'm going to go with my OB since this is a TTC board.

Like: They are good at getting back to me and following up.

Dislike: The OB has no bedside manner. I'll use a different OB for my next pregnancy.

Like: Almost everything. I changed offices after my loss because I hated how I was treated by the doctor and his staff. My new office has reading material in the lobby that has nothing to do with pregnancy and babies. I had to get a rhogham shot and get blood drawn several times after my loss and there is nothing more devastating than sitting in a waiting room full of happy pregnant chicks with nothing to read but freaking Parents magazine.
My new office got me right in for an appointment the day I called. They were very understanding in the beginning of my pregnancy with DD and did betas right away and got me in for an early ultrasound. The doctor told me she wasn't sure that she would find a heartbeat with the doppler at my 10 week appointment but that she would get me right in for an ultrasound to check if we couldn't find it. She spent a minute or so looking and took me right over to the ultrasound tech. They didn't give me any grief about my weekly freak out over not feeling DD move and just hooked me up to the stress test so I could relax. I just love them.

Dislike: I have to go to the hospital to get my Rhogham shot which is a two hour ordeal and irritates me to no end. Why can't they do that in house?

Like:He has a great bed side manner. He is such a great OB that I wish he was my doctor for everything. He delivered my daughter. Also he gave me excellent support after my loss. He sat there and told me that there was nothing I could have changed or done different to have prevented what happened. His sometimes rude RN said the same thing.

Dislike:That I don't see him much and it takes a long time if I want to see him instead of his RN. Like I said in my likes about him, she can be very rude. If you can catch her on a good day she is very sweet but if she is having a bad day you know it. Also the wait in the waiting room is forever. I have had to wait for about 3hours a few time because he can get behind. Usually it is because of a birth so I let it go. I know there are many more OBs I could go to but over all I would rather put up with all that I do to still be able to go to him.

Like- They (doctor & nurses) are wonderful! They get me in quickly are very supportive and I know they want to help me in any way possible.

Dislike- The office is over an hour away as well as the hospital. So when we do get pregnant we are going to have to be very careful since we have to go to that hospital for them to deliver.

Like: My OB is super supportive and was very proactive with all my losses. I never had to ask to get my numbers drawn or a prescription for prometrium or early u/s. He was so invested in getting me to stay pregnant. It really felt like he genuinely cared about us.

dislike: His office is always super busy and I can end up waiting a long time sometimes, especially if I'm getting an u/s

Like: My ob and the nurses are so nice. The ob talks to DH as well and makes it where DH understands. My ob wants me to get pregnant.

Dislike: The office I go to is a half hour away and he is only there two days a week. The hospital where he delivers is an hour away.
