I just finished antibiotics for my UTI and not a day later I am getting a cold. I feel awful and I should O anyday now. I usually O on CD14 or CD15 but my OPKs arent positive and arent very dark yet. I am starting to freak out. Has anyone ever had O be off because of antibiotics? Or could it be because I am now getting a cold? I am trying to not lose hope for this cycle, but I am way over thinking things.

I don't know about antibiotics, but I have just had a cold myself and seem to be Oing on time. If you look at my chart you can see how far before O it started and it's right in time with my O dates the past two months. I'm sure it'll be fine. I've actually had a couple of people tell me that being sick when you conceive is a good thing since your immune system is lower and it can allow the swimmers to get to the egg better!

When I took an antibiotic for a UTI it did delay my O by a few days. So it very well could be that. Sorry to hear your getting a cold. That is always miserable especially when TTC. Hope you feel better soon.

I had a terrible cold when we conceived Jax. It was definitely not the most enjoyable sex ever but it got the job done I had a cold during O this cycle too. I hope that we get lucky again.

I was not on antibiotics but I did hurt my back this cycle and O was a day late.

Thanks ladies! My cold is getting worse!! I did how ever get this...

I can't really tell if it is positive though. To me it looks like it can go either way.
