Angels/Angelversaries: I have two angels - First we lost 7/12/11, EDD January 23, 2012 and second we lost 11/14/11, EDD June 12, 2012.
Tell us a little about your journey: Hmmm... our first angel was unplanned but we were thrilled and of course devastated when we lost it. It was my first pregnancy and we started trying again immediately. Got pregnant again in October on our second TTC cycle and that baby's heart stopped at the same time as the first one - between 8 and 9 weeks. Have now done a bunch of testing (all tests for problems are negative) and so we're now TTC again with supplemental progesterone and hoping that will get us a sticky bean. If not, we start doing chromosomal/genetic testing. Oh and we're getting married in 2 and a half weeks!

Tell us a little about your journey: Started TTC#2 Jan 2011 and after 6 months of nothing got tested, I was fine but DH had a varicocele with low sperm count. While awaiting surgery found out after 10 months that we were pregnant. 2 wks later DH still went through with the surgery just in case anything happened which we never thought would. Miscarried on 12/28 and had D&C. Today AF finally returned and I have never been more happier to see her show!!! Now I know where my cycle is at and we can start actively TTC again.

Tell us a little about your journey: Started the process of TTC May 2011 by having my IUD removed. Doctor told us to wait 2months after to make sure my lining was right. Activity started trying in July 2011. Got pregnant at the end of August on our beach vacation and got our BFP 9/11/11. Naturally MC and D&C on Oct. 25, 2011. Cycles after have been a little bit more heavier than normal and more cramping. Also when I O it feels like a bad AF on her way.

Angels/Angelversaries: Lost my little angel on 2/19/2011...seriously dreading the angelversary in a couple of weeks.
Tell us a little about your journey: My BF & I weren't trying, but were thrilled when we had a surprise pregnancy last year. Sadly, I miscarried at 6 weeks. We started trying again right away, but nothing happened. I went through a series of tests and everything came back normal. My BF did his SA and that was normal too. We were planning on doing an IUI when some relationship issues crept up. I moved out to get a fresh start in life. Since then, he has made a major effort to work things out, so we are back together and better than ever. We're still living in separate places and I think that's the right thing to do for now. We are also back in the TTC game and if I don't get a BFP this month, we'll start planning the IUI again. Life is weird in how it works, but I'm in a good place emotionally now. All I need now is my rainbow baby.

Tell us a little about your journey: stopped BCP at the end of Aug 2011 for family planning. Got pregnant on the first cycle in September. I lost my baby at 9 or 10 weeks and decided to have a natural m/c instead of D&C. Because of that decision we couldn't try again until this current cycle, as something was still left in the uterus during my first cycle after m/c and we just missed O on the 2nd cycle after m/c because the final u/s was too late (to catch the egg). So now we're officially on our first cycle actively trying since m/c.

My Journey: Went off of BC November '07, met with the doc for my "preconception counseling" about mid-month. We waited the 3 months they told us to wait and to our surprise, got pregnant the first month we tried. Had some spotting, had an u/s, but it was too early, they estimated about 5 weeks. Went in a week later, same thing, nothing but a sac measuring around 6 weeks this time. Doc gave me another couple of weeks, went in at 8 weeks and confirmed that there was just a sac (blighted ovum), had D&E the following day. After the first cycle, we were ready to TTC again, my body adjusted quickly and my first cycle started 4 weeks after the procedure. To our surprise, again, I got pregnant right away, we had DD in March '09. Decided to have IUD removed just before DD's 2nd birthday. We decided at first to NTNP, so after about 3 months, I ended up pg - we saw everything that we were supposed to see on a couple of different u/s's, but at almost 12 weeks, I started spotting, had u/s and found out the baby had stopped growing and the heart had stopped at around 8w6d. Had D&E the following day, the day before I would have been 12 weeks. Again, my body adjusted nicely after the procedure and AF started a couple of days past the 4 week mark. We decided to NTNP this time and were going to wait the full 2-3 cycles, but to our surprise, I o'd at an "off" time and we caught the egg. We know we are very lucky and are so blessed to be expecting again, I am currently a couple of days shy of 20 weeks and everyday I check back on here to see who else has gotten their BFP! I wish all of you ladies a quick stay in this room and hate that anyone has to here!

Tell us a little about your journey:
This last pregnancy was a complete surprise. We had talked about trying in a year, and I was just waiting for my cycle to start so I could go get my fertility bloodwork done. I got my BFP Dec 2nd, started progesterone on Dec 30th....but when I went in for my scan Jan 17th a failed m/c was diagnosed, I still had all the symptoms.
I hope to start TTC after my first cycle...but we are thinking of going straight to IVF with testing

Tell us a little about your journey: Our long journey started in Oct 2006...after years of NTNP we finally got our BFP in Jan 2011 only to lose our angel at 10 weeks. Two losses later we are waiting for an appointment next week to see if further testing is needed.

Tell us a little about your journey: 1st pregnancy a surprise, ended up being a missed miscarriage and a partial molar pregnancy needed a D&C. 2nd pregnancy we TTC, saw a heartbeat at 7 weeks, next week no HB miscarried at home. 3rd TTC with clomid to hope for a "stronger egg" everything looked great until blood work from NT scan came back bad. CVS confirmed our baby girl had T18. I had D&E at 15 weeks. TTC with clomid again and conceived our rainbow baby Jax he just turned a year old in December. This is our first cycle TTC #2 hoping to get a BFP soon. I'm on CD 31, no sign of AF but I'm only 7 DPO.

Tell us a little about your journey: First pregnancy was a surprise. We had been married for 9 years, off BCP for 7 years, and had never conceived. Found out I was pregnant at 7 weeks, miscarried 2 weeks later, before my first ultra sound. Not sure we ever had heartbeats (yes, plural... there were twins on the u/s at the e/r.
For the next year, we didn't actively TTC, just figured if it happened, it happened. Then, in June of 2011 I did my first round of clomid & got a BFP! Unfortunately, my OB was moving, and I fell between the cracks waiting to get into my new OB. I went to visit her on what should have been week 8, only to have an u/s and find out that we had lost the heartbeat around a week earlier. Decided to m/c naturally, which took an excruciating month, and I ended up in the e/r with a clot holding my cervix open. Scary stuff!!
I have now found a NEW OB, and feel that he is the one for me! Began progesterone suppositories this month, and if AF comes, will try clomid again next month. Really praying that this is the year!

Tell us a little about your journey: After 2nd loss, OB ran RPL screen and it turns out I am positive for Factor II mutation and elevated anticardiolipins. RE was/is not convinced that is cause of my losses, so we embarked on a protocol of Clomid + Ovidrel + Progesterone to address a mild progesterone deficiency & possible early ovulation issue, along with baby asprin. Got +hpt on that protocol 1st cycle, but ended w/in a week in a 3rd m/c. Currently taking a cycle or two off before TTC again.

Tell us a little about your journey: DH and I decided to TTC shortly after getting married. Our first cycle in TTC (immediately after stopping BCP) we conceived, but it ended in a loss at 4w6d. The doctor wasn't going to run any tests, but in my first post-loss cycle I noticed I was having a lot of spotting before AF. This last cycle (2nd after loss) I also had the spotting and my doctor did a progesterone check and discovered I have low progesterone. We're communicating through phone about the course of treatment. I hope to be on progesterone supplements.

Tell us a little about your journey: First baby we were sure that I was not going to get pregnant as supposedly as I was not going to O. Little did we know that I was already pregnant when we went for the U/S. It was our 2nd cycle with clomid and we were devastated. The second loss we didn't even know we were pregnant. I got a positive pregnancy test and 2 days later AF showed up. It was a pretty tough AF but we did not want to accept it that we might have lost another one. DH finally found the gutz to ask the OB nearly a month and a half ago and based on the assumption that a line is a line here we are with two losses and no rainbow baby. Since clomid side effects were becoming severe had to stop taking them. Started using gonal F this cycle. Waiting to see what happens next week (but already feeling out)

Tell us a little about your journey: I came here in 2010 after my second miscarriage (the first one that hit me hard because we had been trying for a baby). I had just had a D&C and was feeling really hurt and lost. We decided to try right away and lost three more babies in the very early stages of pregnancy in consecutive months (confirmed betas going up and down). We had RE testing and discovered a clotting issue (and potentially a blocked tube, but it was not affecting ovulation) and when I got pregnant in January 2011, I took blood thinners to keep the babies. We ended up having a vanishing twin but carried his brother to term. He was born in September. We plan to try for another rainbow in November of this year.
