here's a funny story:

a few years back DH and I went to a fair and on the parking lot was a guy directing all the cars, including ours of course. At some point he said something, can't remember what it was about. But I couldn't hear what he said, so I was going to stuck my head out the window and ask him what he'd said. ... well... the window was actually closed so I bumped my head. We laughed really hard. For weeks afterwards it was the greatest laughing point lol

Yesterday a teacher had a first grade student sit at the table where I was working for his test. I said to him, "Ok now. I'm going to ignore you and I want you to ignore me." He said, "I can't ignore you! That would be rude!!!"

Also, on Friday, I said to a teacher "T.G.I.F!" A first grader starts sounding out /t/ /g/ /i/ /f/ trying to figure out what I was spelling! I said to him "Honey, I know that adults often spell words if we don't want kids to know what we're saying, but this time I'm not doing that. T.G.I.F. means Thank Goodness It's Friday!!!"

I'll share a Savannah story:

We've been working on "please" with Savannah, and the other night our cat jumped up on the couch where she was sitting (she didn't like that) and she says "GET DOWN CAT!"...so I say "Savannah, can you ask him nicely?" to which she then says to him "GET DOWN NICELY CAT!"
