So I am stacked up on my opk's ready to go after just having a m/c.. I had the dnc done on Tuesday, today is Thursday and I just wanted to try it out and see what would happen so I took one and the opk is positive.. is this because of the hcg hormone still in my body?? I mean its REALLY dark.. Surely I am not ovulating this soon after a dnc

I know, I sound crazy.. Sorry!!!!!!!!!! I am sure I will be posting crazy posts for a while! I did take a hpt yesterday and that was very faint.. looks like the hcg is slowly leaving my body..

Yes, the OPK+ is likely due to the hCG in your system. You won't ovulate until about 2 weeks after your hCG is down to 0, which it probably isn't yet.

Crap!! That sucks!! I figured as much though!! THanks! I wont waist any more tests until almost 2 weeks, I will take a pg test first make sure there are no faint lines, then re test with an opk!!

Ditto Robyn! It sucks because it's so hard to figure out your body after a loss. Not sure where you got OPK's from but I know a lot of us use the ones from Amazon and they work so well and are cheap
