I was wondering if anyone else experienced an unusually long 1st AF after MC. I had my MC on the 28th of December with a D&C. I bleed for about 14 days after that and my 1st AF post MC came 5 wks after my D&C. It started off more heavy then usual which I expected sort of and then after 3 days it was gone basically, no spotting or anything on the 4th day but then on the 5th day, I had light flow again and since then have had continued spotting daily. Today was cycle day 9 and still spotting.

I just got my first post-miscarriage AF on Feb 5th. Now I'm just spotting a bit, so it seems to be a fairly normal AF. Not sure how long is will last though.

Mine were all heavier and longer. It very well could be just a post loss change but if you feel like something is off or your next AF is like that then I would defiantly call the doctor just to be safe.

Yes, it was horrid. It started like a normal period, but then got heavier and heavier. It lasted a full 9 days and for CD7 and CD8 I was running to the restroom to change every 3 hours.. even at night. This last period (2nd pp AF) was a bit heavy, but much more along my normal lines.
