So I have been having some pretty painful cramps, Some of them can only be described as what early labor contractions felt like with my other two children. But I am not bleeding or spotting. Its pretty painful sometimes. So im not understanding why, if im in this much pain already, im not bleeding. I had 2 U/S and neither showed an ectopic. Should I be worried, should I call the dr?
Any help would be great. Im really just trying to get past this, but if it hasn't even started yet then how am I suppose to do that. And my next dr appt isn't till Monday.

so sorry you have to go through this. with my m/c I didn't start cramping before it was really underway, i.e. I was already spotting, then bleeding. If you're worried call your dr. She may want to see you before monday. Good luck, sweetie!

I didn't have any cramping until I was already bleeding. The cramps that I thought felt like contractions came on the third day or so and then I didn't have any cramps or much bleeding after that. I figured that's when I passed the sac and then was done. It was awful though so I'm so sorry you have to go through this. There should really be a rule that says when you have to experience something so painful emotionally, it doesn't get to hurt physically.

With both my m/c's, the bleeding started, and the cramping came a few hours later. The really bad cramping only lasted for one day. Are you taking anything for the pain? If not, I'd encourage you to take either Advil or Aleve for the cramping. It will really help if you start taking it and let it build up in your system. I always take Advil, but my friend's doctor encouraged Aleve for miscarriage cramping. If you are still cramping badly tomorrow and haven't started bleeding, then I would consider seeking medical attention. I would bet that if you are cramping badly now, the miscarriage will start fairly soon.

I had the really bad cramps after I started heavily bleeding. Maybe you should contact your OB. So sorry you are going through a miscarriage.
