It's been 9 years since my last m/c, so I can't remember how long these last. I'm on day 6 now since I started heavy bleeding and cramping. Passed the placenta and cord Sunday eve, but no baby attached. So I think it was a blighted ovum.

But I am so exhausted! Is this normal? Today was the first day I have not had to take Advil for cramping, and bleeding has slowed down quite a bit. I'm guessing I'm somewhat anemic, so started iron today.

How long did yours last?

I am so sorry for your loss. How far along were you? I know with my losses the farther along I was the worse the bleeding/cramps were. As far as the heavy bleeding it could have also been due to you taking the advil. I hope the bleeding eases up for you soon.

I M/C at 10w3d and bled for about 2 weeks. My doctor said 2 weeks is about average for losses. I hope you have a safe and healthy recovery, and feel better. hugs.

I'm so sorry for your loss
I was about 9/10 weeks along when I lost mine, and bled for about 1-2 weeks after passing the fetus.

I am so sorry for your loss. I m/c on the same day as you (Sunday) and I am still bleeding, although today the cramping was finally gone. I was 9w4d. Thanks for all the info on here, ladies. I've not posted much, but have found several encouraging posts. TY!

I am so sorry for your loss. My last m/c when i had to deliver my still born (Nov 2009) I think I bled for about 2 weeks. I just did miscarry and passed all in the middle of the night. But the process started earlier this week with light spotting and then more bleeding friday and now it is less today. Still sore and tender.

1st miscarriage it took two separate rounds of bleeding, one month apart..for everything to pass. Bleeding lasted about 14 to 16 days both times.

I am hoping my 2nd will go faster....but I am a bleeder, so it'll probably be at least a week to 10 days again.
