Stressing Myself Out (x-posted) UPDATE 2

I got positive opks CD 18, 19, and 20. And it is normal for me to O CD 20 or CD 21. I am thinking that I Oed CD 22 this cycle but FF will not give me cross hairs. And I need to start my progesterone at the latest tonight if I Oed on CD 21 and the latest tomorrow night if I Oed CD 22. I had the ewcm. I had the O pains and the tender bbs. I had the positive opks. But what are my temps doing???? Could it be a slow rise chart? Could I have geared up to O then never did? If I go a cycle without Oing I am supposed to call my doctor but I have had no problem with that so far. Should I go ahead and start the progesterone and hope my temps get with the program???

UPDATE: I had a huge temp drop this morning so I am either Oing today or it is implantation. I did not start the progesterone yet. I am waiting to see what happens. We bded last night and we will again today and tomorrow. So either way we are covered.

Update 2: Well there was another major temp drop. I do not know if my body is trying to O or what. I took a pg test and an opk and all negative. My doctor told me to call right away if it looks like I am not Oing so I called first thing this morning and have an appointment Monday afternoon. I have a feeling that he is going to put me on Clomid. I just feel very frustrated and let down by my body. I do not understand how a girl that works for my dad can get pg and the father could be four different men but me who is married and have a financially stable life cannot get pregnant and stay pregnant??? DH told me last night that if we are not pregnant by the beginning of December that we are going to go to Disney World before Christmas! He said we deserve it if after trying for almost three years and aren't pregnant. I obviously would waaay rather have my rainbow baby. We are also going to go see an endo fertility specialist if we are not pregnant by then as well. So we have a plan.

Going by your chart I would say you ovulated CD 19 but honestly if your unsure I would call the doctor and see if they can check your progesterone level to see if you did O. If you did not O and you start the progesterone the you will not O at all. I know my body has played tricks on me before and I thought I O'd and I actually didn't. My body would gear up, have O pains & LH surge and then nothing

I know it's VERY frustrating.

I definately see where you are coming from Katie. I am thinking you might be right Katie. The more I look at my chart the more I think that is what happened. If I did O on CD 19 then it is too late to start the progesterone right unless I get my bfp? My problem with my doctor is that he is only in his office two days a week and is half an hour away. I am going to talk to DH about it.

If you did O CD 19 then it's not too late but what I would do would be just wait it out. I would start testing in about 3-4 days with IC's (if you have them) or call and schedule something with your doctor. I know that they might not be in the office that much but if they check your progesterone to see if you did ovulate if you did not then they can give you something to bring on AF and get a plan for next cycle and if you did ovulate they could draw a beta at the same time as the progesterone and they can check to see if you are pregnant

Thanks for the input Katie. I am going to do exactly that. I am going to wait and see what happens. I will start testing in a few days and then if nothing I will call the doctor next week. Thank you Katie for the advice!!!!

No problem dear. I've been in your boat many times before and it's very frustrating when you don't know exactly what is going on. My doctor actually got to a point that she would have me get blood work done every month at 7dpo. That way if I did not ovulate I would stop the progesterone so that AF could come or I would continue taking it knowing that I did O.

That is a great doctor!!! Do you think I should start the progesterone to be on the safe side??? DH thinks I should.

If you really think that you O'd then I would start it. If your really unsure or do not think that you did then I would not. Only reason being is if you did not O and you start it then your body will not ovulate. If you did O then it does not hurt to start taking it even 1-2 dpo.

Have you had any of your other 2ww "symptoms?" Like I get nauseous soon after O'ing in most of my cycles.

Yes I have had bad heartburn the past couple of days which I only typically get when I am pg. And I have been crazy tired!

Hi i just wanted to say about the opks i get three days of positives every month so far and i ovulate on the second day of the positive opk. Also my ob told me some women do ovulate and it dont show on there charts so they have to get blood work done to know that they have ovulated.I hope you ovulated and caught that eggie! Wow just looked at your chart and from the looks of it you ovulated on cycle day 19 and the reason you didnt get the cross hairs is cause the one temp was way high then went low rite before you ovulated,but it does look like you ovulated on cycle day 19.Good luck fx!
