so, as we were supposed to start ttc again...my husbands deployment was pushed off now to August. REALLY???? gosh, everything is on such a time line! His deployment is now 8 months long, instead of 7. So, I am trying to time it exactly....I know that could be a mistake since it only gives us so many tries, but, I really, really want him here for as much baby time as possible. This is our last time trying. So, we will see what happens. Can I just say sometimes it SUCKS being a military spouse?? I am sure there are several of you out there that feel my pain. SO, my plan is to try in June now......sigh.....

I am really sorry. I know how depressing that must be. Sometimes I really hate the military Luckily my husband is just in the reserves now (used to be active duty) but it definitely comes with headaches too.

*hugs* I hope it works out better than expected for you.

I understand completely. With DD we were waiting to time like you, getting pregnant right before he left again. He came back from one deployment and the next cycle I got pregnant. (It was a random, crazy cycle. I thought AF was coming the next day but turn's out I O'ed instead.) So, we are not good at timing these things! (Also, DH deployed when I was 37 weeks pregnant.)
And we're Navy too At least I assume you are Navy while being in San Diego.

I am so sorry your having to try to plan it for certain times. Could you talk to your doctor about trying to boost your odds the cycles you do have to try yet?

@ninja_mommy- yep, we are navy too I know the timing thing is very hard. I am hoping I am not pushing it off to much and hurting our chances. It is just that he has never had a baby and I really want him to be there for as much of it as possible with this being our last try. It is stressful trying to plan it like that...but I guess what is meant to happen will i suppose.

Katie-I never really thought about "boosting our chances" maybe I should talk to the dr. and see what he thinks. thanks for the suggestion
