Hi ladies, I usually post over in the TTC board but I decided to post this one here. Dh and I had a loss on March 3rd at 7wks. On March 2nd my HCG was 1,350 and on March 5th they were done to 180 a wk later they were below five. We weren't TTC this yet because I haven't gotten my cycles back but we have been using the pull and pray method with one time of not pulling out. I'm not sure when I O'd or if I even have yet but I should have started AF some around March 31st- April 3rd. I haven't got her yet. On April 1st I was having pre AF like cramps and was really excited because I thought she was coming on time but now I don't have any pre af cramps or anything. I took a few test a week ago and I kept seeing EXTREMELY faint lines on ALL the test I took but they were soooo faint and weren't getting darker that I just assumed negative. Yesterday DH was like " What happened to your boobs!?!" lol men have a weird way of putting things lol and I asked him what and he said they looked huge. I had on a undershirt and a t-shirt so I took them off and my bra and asked if they still looked bigger and he said def yeah. The only time my boobs are ever bigger is if I'm pregnant. Also one other thing is my cervix is HIGH when normal is low when AF is close. I got 2 almost positive OPK's today and I've lost my appetite and when I think about fixing something the thought of it makes me want to throw up. I was pinning this off on my new medicine though but who knows. Sorry for such a long storry I just wanted to share everything. I guess my question is has anyone who has had a loss went thru this and AF came or what could be going on besides pregnancy? I am going to also post this in AIP to get more input. Thanks in advance for responses

I've had it take a long time for AF to come back normally after a miscarriage. Your body could be just readjusting.

If you think you may be pregnant, maybe get a blood test? It's really the only way you will know for sure (if the beta is rising).

I was planning to take a $test in the morning if I get a chance to go out tonight. It gcould very well be my body readjusting I just figured since I m/c so well naturally and my levels went to basically 0 a week after I started losing the baby then I'd start on time. Thanks for you response!

So sorry for your loss and what you are going through right now. I had 2 miscarriages and 1 ectopic pregnancy last year. I can share with you my experiences and I hope that it may help. Our bodies are so complex and as you will see from every woman on this board, we all have different experiences. After my miscarriages and before I got by 1st AF I would experience exactly what you are describing. My bras wouldn't fit, I would have pregnancy like symptoms, nausea, headaches, fatigue, that didn't make sense to me. It would make me feel like maybe the doctor was wrong and my baby is ok and I am still pregnant. But then I would finally get AF. Our bodies really make our minds go crazy. If you feel like you may be pregnant then I would go to your OB and have them run an HCG test.
The women on this site are so supportive and have really helped me heal through this difficult time in my life. It is a safe place for you to ask anything you wish.

Thanks so much! I of course would love to be pregnant again even though we weren't going to TTC again until May but if I'm not that is fine too I just want AF to come if I'm not! Maybe buying the test will scare her to come lol everytime I by a test and i'm not pregnant I find that AF has arrived when I go to take it

It could be that you did not actually O after your loss. I know that for me after my first loss I had a D&C. After my D&C I finally had to go on meds to bring back AF. My body just was not getting back to normal. Have you tested anymore?? Sending lots of positive thoughts your way

How do you know you were due for AF on Mar. 31? All bets are off after a miscarriage. You could have one within 3/4 weeks, or you might not for 6 to 8 weeks.

After my miscarriages...things were wacky...especially this last one at 11 weeks along. I had all signs pointing to me about to ovulate, then out of the blue, AF showed up. I don't temp, so I don't know about that...but my cervix was high and seemed fertile, but I'm guessing it really wasn't.

I'd get a dollar store test if it'd help ease your mind. Your chances are probably pretty slim though....

I know because you are supposed to go from the time you either started bleeding or when you lost the baby, i'm going for the time I lost the baby, and then you 'should' start your period 28 or however many days your cycle is after that. Mine are a little irregular going from 28-32 days long.

I expect my body to bounce back quickly because my loss was early ( 5 1/2wks was what the baby was only measuring) and I m/c well naturally with my numbres coming down quickly. My body felt VERY back to normal within a wk of the m/c. You could very well be right but I would be suprised if my body was going to take 8wks for my period to come back. Who knows though, hopefully your wrong! lol

I was going to test in a couple of hrs after I hold my urine I hope I don't have to get put on meds to bring AF back, that would be frustrating lol but anything is possible.

Good luck!!! Unfortunately, it's true that our bodies can do all kinds of weird things after a loss. I hope that you get a BFP when you test, but if not...I hope AF shows quickly. Did you test again yet?
