Your test will look like that because you always have lh in your body and at different levels. Its when your test line is as dark or darker than the control line that its positive.I will try to get a good picture of my test from this month and show you, mine do the same thing. The more concentrated your urine is the better result and the more diluted the urine the lighter your result.

Please don't be so distressed! It makes me sad seeing you so frustrated <3 If you have shorter (closer to normal) cycles, you COULD have missed O. Your positive may have been one or two tests before your first one. Sometimes tests will get lighter then darker then lighter then darker and eventually go positive, but not necessarily get positive just because they got darker. There are a lot of factors. It's best to test twice a day, sometimes surges don't last a full 24hrs. You can test more if that would put you at ease, but 2x a day is fine. Some women only test 1x/day but I wasn't comfortable with that when I was using OPKs. I'm sorry I can't give you a clear answer... But that's the most honest one I have <3

None of them look positive. The test line must be as dark as or darker than the control line. You should test at least twice a day during the time you suspect you might be ovulating. I do it from about CD10 and on til I get a positive. And yes, it is possible to miss your surge..that's why they say to test at least twice a day.

these test where one of the worst ideas i think i have ever had. i couldn't sleep because all i was thinking about is that i didnt bd on cd 11, i did on 12 and 13and will be for the next week lol. every time iv tryd witch would be 3 times iv allways gottin pregnant on the first try, i no alot of people might feel annoyance towards me because of that and im sorry. i no if i did miss it 100 percent that come may 1st im going to be so upset. and wont be taking these test next cycle now i understand why you guys need breaks from stuff like this it can drive a person to be crazy!you guys could be right that i surged on cd 12 but earlyer in the day because on cd11 at night ( when i was up all night with my freind in labor) my overys felt so hard and hurt a little. so if i did surge sometime early day 12 and didnt bd till 10pm ish on day 12 could i have still caught the egg?

i love you ladys for putting up with my rants and complete lack of knowledge on anything

The surge doesn't mean you're ovulating right then. The surge means that you're ovulating in the next 12-48 hours. If you were to be having an IUI done based off of your own natural surge, it's done 24 hours after you get a positive ovulation test. Once the egg is released, it survives for approximately 48 hours. So let's say you surged at 7am on CD 12. You probably didn't ovulate till something like 7am on CD 13, and had a window something like through 7am CD 14. BUT we can't say for sure that you missed your positive ovulation test, it's just a possibility. How long are your cycles usually?

Ok, you're definitely going to want to keep BDing to totally cover your bases. You could O on CD 14 and have a 14 day luteal period (the time from ovulation to your next period), or you could O on CD 16 and have a 12 day luteal period. Or you could O on CD 13 and have a 15 day luteal period. So who knows. Just keep putting that man of yours to work for now

A good handful of us are pretty crazy. I got nutso during the 2ww! Which is now... haha. Chances are that you did just fine this cycle Is is VERY unlikely you would have surged on CD 10 and Od on CD 11. That would give you a 17-day luteal period! And that's really unheard of. Get in a couple more days of BDing even if it's not every day. DH and I do better when we don't BD every day, but he also has count/quality issues.

All good info has been posted already, just want to say that mine will build up a few days, get close to positive, then go back down and then be positive. They don't always show a straight progression for everyone. Good luck and yes we do go crazy!

You could hold that thing in the urine for 3 seconds or a full minute and it's not going to make a difference in the result. Post a pic!!! And take another test in a few hours and see if it gets darker, it's cool to watch But both matching IS considered a positive! YAY!!!!!
