I just thought I would say hello to all you ladies and introduce myself. I live in Los Angeles with my husband and I just lost my first pregnancy little one last week (although it had passed 2 weeks prior at about 8 weeks - which is after a strong heartbeat of 180). I had a D&C (the vacuum kind done in my OB's office) and am now currently waiting for my doctors appointment which is next Tuesday. We are hoping she will give us the go ahead to start again ASAP. We are hoping to get pregnant again in June if at all possible, since almost all of our family are March babies.

My husbands mother is very ill with pancreatic cancer so I really want to get pregnant again as soon as possible. I know it means a lot to both of them besides the fact that I have never been happier while I was pregnant.

So, hello! And I can't wait for us to all get our rainbow babies!

Kristina, I am so sorry for your loss. My name is Rebecca and I have lost 4 angels last year. The support I have received from JM has been such a big part of my ability to emotionally heal and continue to believe for my miracle . The women here are great listeners, supporters, and advice givers. We all know the heartache that you are going through and are here to listen when you need to vent or offer any advice from our personal experiences. I pray that your stay here is very short and you get your rainbow baby real soon. I pray that your MIL health is better too.

Welcome! I'm sorry you have to join us. I'm Kim, and I had my first loss on 2/10 at 11wks. I also had to have a d&c. My MD recommended we wait 2 cycles, so we're just now starting to try again. Welcome! I am so sorry for your loss. I had a D&C with a baby back before my last daughter was born. I bled for quite awhile after and had an annovulatory cycle. We were able to conceive the next month. I hope it all works out for you.

I totally understand the cancer thing. We sorta fast tracked our babymaking plans once we learned my MIL had cancer....it really helped her in a way..she had something to look forward to and it made her so happy. My son was 6 months old when she died, and everyone swears he helped her hang on longer.

Anyways...sorry for your loss, and nice to meet you. I hope you get your rainbow baby soon!
