It would certainly be easier if there was a method to the madness.

I am so sorry that you are going through all this. I am going to begin to pray that you get pregnant without IVF. I have been reading so many stories lately to give myself hope to continue on this journey and I read about women who were told they could not have children, so they gave up trying and went the adoption route. Then miraculously they got pregnant on their own and now have two children under 2. So forget the stress of owing banks I am going to pray for a miracle for you and your dear husband.

I am so sorry to hear that.
Do either you or your husband have any retirement accounts? Like a 401k, 403b, etc? If so, you can take a loan from it. The interest rate is pretty low (5% or so), and you're paying yourself back for the most part. Part of the interest will go to the company handling your account, but the other part goes to you. We did this recently...took out a $15k loan from my dh's one account, and are repaying over 5 years (we play to pay it off sooner though)....and basically our payment is $800 something quarterly.
I know there are lines of credit specifically for medical things, but I think the interest rates are pretty sky high. I looked into it when I need some pretty pricey dental work and it wasn't worth it.
I know you will figure something out and get the baby you've always wanted.

I hate that things are just so unfair! I'm so sorry, if I win the lottery in the near future- the money you need for it is yours!

I am so so sorry Katie! I agree with Courtney. You are so giving and selfless, WHY is everything always working against you?!? I just don't understand! Listen, I know that you are going to need time to figure out your action plan for IVF. I also know you did Clomid a ton of times. Have you every tried injectables? I have a bunch of left over meds from our injectables + IUI cycle that I have no need for. I have a full vial of Follistim and 1 Ovidrel trigger shot sitting in my fridge, and 5 Ganirelix shots in my cabinet. If your RE is up for you trying an injectables and IUI cycle while you wait, I will gladly send it all to you for free. It's the least I can do for all of the love and support you've shown me through the years on my journey.

This breaks my heart to read this Katie. I agree with the other ladies. You are so giving and have such a big heart. It's just not fair. Like Lori I have some meds left over from when we did our IUI. If the mess are still good I would be willing to send them to you for free.

I'm so sorry! As if it isn't difficult enough to keep trying in the face all of that we have been through, but you are strong! I'm sure it will happen for you soon! Wishing you success with the grants and in your efforts to have your rainbow baby!

I am so sorry Katie. It makes me mad and breaks my heart that someone like you has such a hard time with all of this. It isn't fair at all. I wish I had some suggestions for you...I hope you and your husband can work something out and/or find another way.
I will pray for you too that it happens without the IVF. <3

I have no words whatsoever... I read this days ago and just haven't known what to say... All I can think is that I love you and I'm sorry.
