Hi Everyone. My name is Josie and I lost twins on April 19th - I was around 11 Weeks though there had been no growth since 6W. I also had a chemical preg. in January...so these back to back losses have really hit me hard. We are back to TTC #1 even though my doctors have been super UNHELPFUL and I still have not gotten a period since January 27. D&C on the 19th......nothing since. I have no idea if/when I'll ovulate, so we are just having sex when we feel like it. Of course, I am praying for a february baby even though we were technically told to wait a cycle.

I am so petrified of not being able to stay pregnant. I have no idea why I've had losses and the doctors won't do anything until over 3 MC's. I keep hoping its a fluke, but in the back of my mind I feel like I might have a progesterone or thyroid issue or something.

Anyway I could go on forever, but thats my intro. I hate that we are all drawn together in this way, but glad to have the support.

Hi Josie!!!
I have been wondering where you were. I still haven't gotten my period yet. Hopefully it will show up soon so our bodies can get back to "normal".

Praying we both get our sticky beans soon!

Welcome Josie! I am so very sorry for your losses. The ladies here are wonderful and so full of information. I'm sorry your doctor is not being very helpful. Have you thought about changing doctors? I have found that once you find the right fit for your doctor it really helps. I hope that you get a sticky BFP quickly!

Josie, I'm glad to see you back and ready to TTC again. I hope this third time is the charm. Can you get a new doctor?

I concur with the new doctor idea! I'm sorry this keeps happening to you. Once is hard enough, but twice is even worse. If you don't like your doctor's policy, get another one, if you can! No reason to wait, especially if you really want to pursue finding out what went wrong.
Best of luck with getting your sticky rainbow baby!

Hi Josie, I’m so sorry for your loss. The ladies on here are very supportive! I also agree with the other ladies and think if possible it’s time to find another medical provider. Hope your body gets back to “normal” soon so you can have your rainbow baby!

Hey there lady! I have been meaning to email you but it has been nuts at work. I am really glad that you made it back to JM. It's helped me some, although I still stalk the old DDC - which I don't recommend doing. It's torture...stay away.

Anyway, you know how I feel and I hope we can be in the next DDC together- with the other awesome ladies here.

Thank you everyone. I have already seen multiple doctors...as you all know most of them consider miscarriages "normal" until you have more than 3. Both doctors told me the same thing, and that it was a fluke and there its not likely another will happen. I'm trying to just take it easy and be laid back about it, otherwise I will work myself into a frenzy. Trying to be healthier for next time around...

Hi there! I'm new here aNd had two recent losses back to back after 6 successful pregnancies. I have midwife and she is so proactive!!! I love her. She considered the first one a fluke but the second one a concern. She started me on low dose aspirin along with the usual prenatals, and as of today 100mg progesterone. We hope this workspace you considered a midwife? I left the ob/gyn situation during my 5th pregnancy. I find that the doctors can be so cold and not very proactive when it comes to helping resolve issues. Midwives a much more personal and will take the time to listen to you not your insurance card. Just a suggestion but I hope everything works out well for you

Sorry to hear the way the docs are talking. Sucks... But tends to be the way of the world for women in our position. So we tear out our hearts for months/years while we wait and they do nothing. I'm glad you came here -- this really is an amazing group to be part of, considering the reason for being here is not so amazing... You have lots of women here, so many different circumstances, game plans for the future, etc. People will scream with you, cry with you, smile with you, hope with you, and hope FOR you when you feel like you just don't have any hope left. Sorry you're here, but glad you found the place <3
