I feel ridiculous getting so excited about this, but my OPKs are getting close to showing positive! I got a nice strong test line today, although not as strong as the control line, it was pretty close! I wonder if I'll even need the Wondfo's I ordered that should be arriving Thursday? I would hate to waste 40 OPKs but at the same time, I would be happy not to need them and for this to be my rainbow baby! I know I'm getting all excited even before conception and maybe I should rein it in a bit, but I don't think I can help it, and I think whether I get excited or not I would still be just as devastated if I m/c again. So, I think I am going to enjoy this and try not to worry. DH is totally on board and asked me what day we need to be BD'ing to catch it. So we're lining up our week! hehe. We've been BD'ing pretty often lately so I think all our bases are already pretty well covered. But it never hurts to be safe!
Anyway, hoping to be in the 2ww pretty soon and biting my nails along with all the rest of you gals that are waiting too!

Thanks ladies! Can't wait till I can test again today to see if it comes up positive!
I'm happy to report that I picked the Wondfo package that has 10 HPT's in it, so even if I can't use the OPKs I have some good POAS material!

OK so I'm a little confused, around 10:30 this morning I did another OPK, and the line was barely visible. I looked though and it's weird because the boxes I bought were all the same brand, but the one I did yesterday said to put 5 drops on it, and the one I took this am said 4 drops. I didn't read the box until after, so I put 5 drops in the 4 drop test. Arrghh...do you think that could have skewed it if it was over-saturated? Details, details! Grr...

Maybe I just need to retest this evening. So hard to wait, and all this is is an OPK! I'm going to be hopeless when it comes to the HPTs...lol!

Thanks! If I did already surge, I should be covered for BD since we had done it the day before. I hope that's enough!

I just re-tested and it's definitely a lot lighter than yesterday evening was. Arrgh now I wish we had BD yesterday...I would feel a lot better. Although we did the day before (Sunday--Monday night was almost-positive OPK), and if we do today, do you think that is enough? The suspense is killing me!
FF was guesstimating this coming weekend for ovulation, so I was trying to not spend too much money on OPK's prior to that, plus I had an order of the Wondfo's coming, so I thought it would work out. Looks like I just missed it! But hopefully didn't miss it as far as BD'ing goes. Sorry for the freakout here, just really want to give that egg every change of making it!
Oh, and I need to run out and buy baby aspirin ASAP! I want to have that going from day 1 so I don't have any possible clotting issues. Well, or at least reduce my chances.
My brain is running around like a chicken with its head cut off...

i think you're fine...surge just means ovulation will occur within next 12-48 hours (i think, someone who uses OPKs more often can correct me here...), so keep at it for another few days and i'm sure you've timed everything to the best of your ability.

on the baby aspirin, did your OB tell you to take immediately? I ask only b/c my RE had me wait until i was around 2-3DPO before starting each cycle...probably wouldn't be an issue if it's your first cycle, but prolonged use of baby aspirin can interfere with ovulation which is why most docs only have you start after O has happened.

Good luck to you!

Actually I haven't had baby aspirin recommended by any of the docs I've seen....hematologist, family doc, or OB. But I did have a blood clot in my lung in January, so some of the ladies in here were shocked that it was never suggested to me. Maybe I'll give it a couple days then, thanks for the tip! I know I should probably clear it with my doc, but on the other hand, I don't want to wait till my appointment with her on friday.
I'm racing around trying to find my OPK from yesterday to look at it again...arrghh cannot find it!! Even dug through some really yucky trash...haha I've officially gone nuts!

Sooooo I'm just now reading this (I was busy today) but I agree with Lara. After your surge you should O within 24-48hours so you should be good to go with BDing. But I would BD the next few days or every other day for a few days to cover your basis. Another thing is sometimes my OPKs can be a little all over the place so I would keep taking them to make sure it doesn't turn dark again I have everything crossed for you dear!
