So today I went to the doctor for my racing heart/palpitations, and mentioned I got a + preg test at home. They did a pee test there and told me it was positive as well! Woot! I feel better now knowing a medical professional has given me a confirmation.
On a side note, I have a low-dose of Atenolol to take whenever my heart rate jumps up, and also they're going to take me down to half a dose on the Wellbutrin, because that can actually cause a rapid heart rate in some people. So for me who is prone to it anyway, it might be what's aggravating it. Plus gonna have to give up caffeine! Ugh! But I'm going to be buying decaf tea so I can at least still have a cup in the morning.

Yay for a doctor's confirmation. Im sure it definitely feels good that someone else can see it. I hope the meds work for your heart.

Have you ever had La Croix? Im pretty sure its caffeine free. There are different flavors. At first I thought they were nasty but now I love them. My favs are the lemon and berry flavors.

I guess I should add that La Croix is a carbonated drink - it makes me feel like Im drinking a soft drink because its in a can. Its just something else besides water

Thanks for the idea, no I hadn't heard of La Croix but I'll have to check that out! I think what I'm going to do is get decaf black tea so it at least tastes like what I'm used to in the morning. Thanks tho!

Joy - You inspired me to test again because I won't have my appt. for a while. ! Things are still on the up and up! I am very excited but extremely guarded. I won't have my first official dr. appointment until September 5th. It feels like it's so far away, but since I start work this week. , I am hoping it will go by fast! Are you having any symptoms?

Thank you everyone! My DH just announced it tonight on Facebook...I'm a teeny bit unhappy that he did, because I wanted to wait, but at the same time, part of me wanted to announce it. I just hope we don't have to go back on that if something happens. I don't think I'm going to put it on my FB yet, even though we have friends in common. I'm just not ready for that yet.

Pretty good, I feel better after taking the Atenolol today, my heart has calmed down and although I still feel a bit tired, I don't feel all breathless so that is a plus.

Oh I'm so glad things are still looking good for you! I don't have my official meet with my regular doctor till later (I just saw whoever was available for the heart stuff). My appt is on the 7th, just a couple days after you! We already talked some about TTC, she said when I did turn up pregnant she was going to refer me to a maternal-fetal health specialist, since I had the blood clot and hemorrhaging issues and all that with this last m/c. Just to make sure everything is ok. That makes me feel better so I know I'm getting the best of care. I look forward to getting things started! OMG I get a little thrill just thinking of a first ultrasound! But at the same time I don't want to think that far ahead yet.
I have a few symptoms, like being real tired, going to bed a lot earlier than I usually do. Sensitive to smells and having chocolate cravings hehe. BB's aren't getting bigger yet or sore, but it seems like that started later for me last time too. I'm only 11DPO today, so still pretty early.

I am beat too! Very tired. . The only time I had any nausea was when I miscarried... I have sore BB's and I keep poking to make sure they still hurt! I am nuts! I have never had any testing, so I won't be seeing a specialist. Being that we had 3, I wasn't able to mentally handle all of the testing. I wish I could. I am not strong enough. We are going to my regular OB. What will your due date be?

YAY congrats!!!! I like La croix too. I get it in the bottles though. But it's sparkling flavored water with no sugar or anything added.

So excited for you!

I had m/s with my son and with the one I m/c, so I can't really say that there were any symptoms that were different with the one I lost. I had to laugh at poking to make sure they still hurt! But I understand where that comes from, being afraid you might wake up one day and they DON'T hurt. I think that's why a lot of us POAS even after we get our BFP. We want to make sure it's still ok.

I did the due date calendar online, and it says May 5th. But haven't been told that officially by a doctor.
