Hi, first to indroduce myself I am Jamie and have an almost 2 year old son, an 11 tear old stepdaughter and 13 tear old stepson. I recently delivered a stillborn baby boy (i was 18 weeks)on Oct 22 Dr. said it would be best to wait a couple cycles. before trying again but also said if it happens it happens because she doesn't want me on birth control until Feb to check my thyroid. We do know the reason for the loss of my son and it doesn't seem to be anything that will continue to be a problem. We are not trying but not not trying. The last couple days AI just feel pregnant.... Has anyone gotten pregnant immediately after a loss? What are the chances? Thanks for reading and look forward to getting to know you ladies

Jamie, I am so very sorry for your loss. As for your question, yes it is very possible. After your loss your more fertile than before due to your cervix not being fully closed yet. I would see if you could get an appointment because they might want to follow your more closely since you just had your loss. Keep us posted hun

I have had 4 losses, after each of the first three losses I immediately got pregnant on the next cycle. The forth loss was Seth who was still born at 18 weeks and like you we are hoping to wait a few cycles.

You can become pregnant immediately. POAS
