Hi, my name is Nicole. I'm a SAHM to 4 kiddos between 15 months and 8 years. I am currently experiencing my first loss. MY EDD was ~June 7th but when we went in for an early u/s @ what I thought would be right around 8 weeks, there was a gestational sac measuring 6w4d and no hb. I had 3 hcg draws 48 hours apart that were 41,000, 47,000, and (I think) 51,000. On the day of the 3rd draw I had another u/s and still just a sac w/ no hb now measuring 6w3d. We had already prepared ourselves for the probability of a m/c. I took a round of methergine to start the m/c a little over 2 weeks ago and have been waiting and waiting for the m/c to start until I started bleeding today. I was still foolishly holding onto the hope that they were wrong and there was still a baby

I was pretty set on being done w/ four babies, but now that we have experienced this loss DH is very insistent that he wants to try again and I want to do that for him. So here I am! I have to wait out the m/c but as soon as we can, we'll be ttc #5. I'm so glad to have jm and so many other women that will listen when it's hard to talk to people in real life because they don't understand the grief. Thanks for reading

So sorry to hear about your loss. I agree this is a great place to come and talk about it. My loss was very early, but the ladies here have been wonderful and have let me know I'm not crazy for being as sad as I was/am. I hope your cycles bounce back quickly and you are able to have your rainbow baby without much trouble.

Hi Nicole. I am sorry to see you here. I was due just a few days before you. It's hard and painful to have a m/c even when you already have children. I wish you all the luck in ttc again.
