Hi there,
I had a D&C on 12/31 and am waiting (and waiting and waiting) on AF to start. How long did it take for those of you who had to have a D&C? I have no symptoms that AF is even remotely close to showing up!

First of all, I am so sorry for your loss.
You have definitely come to the right place. These ladies are amazing, and I'm so thankful that I have them in my life.
I had a D&C done on July 27, 2012, and I believe my next cycle began on August 27, 2012 - So, 32 days. My cycles range from around 28-32 days normally.

After my last d&c, AF came about 5-6 weeks later.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Hugs to you.

I had a D&C in November, which left me bleeding for 3 weeks. Then AF returned exactly 28 days later (so I had a week off between bleeding for one reason or another). But I've heard it could take anywhere from 2-8 weeks. I know how hard the wait is. Maybe call your doctor to see when they think there might be any reason for concern, or an extra check up.

Crito - coincidentally I also had my d&c on 12/31. I still have yet to get AF either. About 2 weeks ago I started getting slight backaches and headaches, and my face is still breaking out a bit (all symptoms of AF) but still have yet to get it.

If I don't get it this week I think I am going to call my doctor. Keeping my fingers crossed that it comes very soon for the both of us.

Well I guess all I needed to do was post here... I started AF this morning, so that makes 41 days between D&C and AF. The strange thing is that I have no AF symptoms at all, no cramps, my boobs are not remotely sore. I have been a little broken out, but it's been that way since I was pregnant, really. It's odd but I guess I will take it. Who wants to be crampy and sore?

Lucky! I still don't have mine I think I may call my doctor tomorrow morning. I'm getting really nervous.
