I had a miscarriage back in December (blighted ovum) after trying to conceive for a year and a half. I waited until my first normal period and then started TTC again. Well yesterday I started to bleed, almost exactly 4 weeks after the start of my last period. I drank a couple of glasses of wine and consoled myself that I would try again next month. Today the bleeding stopped, so I figured maybe it was implantation bleeding and I talked myself into taking a pregnancy test. Well, it was positive. I am confused because my periods are irregular, normally 5-6 weeks but I think they may have gotten shorter due to being more fertile after the miscarriage. The last 5 days I've had PMS symptoms, which I know can mimic early pregnancy symptoms. Although with my successful pregnancy and miscarriage the symptoms were slightly different than PMS.
Anyway, because of my irregular periods and freaking out because of my miscarriage, I don't know if the bleeding was implantation bleeding and I should be excited, or if it is regular spotting. And of course I am cursing myself for drinking two glasses of wine last night.

Try not to worry too much! A lot of women drink in the first several weeks of pregnancy and everything turns out just fine. I would call the Dr. about the spotting though. Maybe they can do a blood test or something?
Definitely don't panic about the drinks...I just went through something similar (except my bleeding went on for 4 days and I assumed it was AF, never tested again) so it doesn't necessarily mean a m/c it can simply be a SCH bleeding out or even really heavy implantation bleeding.
