I was just wondering for those of you who have had a natural miscarriage, do you remember how long after you bled for?

For the possible TMI part:
I m/c on Feb 22nd starting late that evening and passed a lot that night (it freaked me out how large one of the clots was), the baby passed the following day. Bleeding was extremely heavy the first 2 days and tapered off rapidly. I had an ultrasound done the 25th that confirmed there was just 1 clot left to pass. Now for a good 4-5 days it's been very light and the nasty brown stuff, mostly just when I wipe. I'm ready for it to be over with, it's like a slap in the face everytime I go to the bathroom and another reminder that it happened.

I am so sorry you are going through this and I'm sorry for your loss. From what I've learned since I've been here everybody is different when it comes to how long it might take to complete a m/c. I hope you heal quickly so you can TTC your rainbow baby.

I'm sorry for your loss. You said it, it's like a slap in the face every time you go to the restroom.

PP is right, everyone is different. I've heard some ladies say that they passes naturally and it was like a heavy period. I had a natural MC in sept and it was horrible. Unbearable pain and cramping and I bled so heavily for three days I was afraid there was a bigger issue. But it was all over in about 7 days. We started TTC with our doc's approval the next cycle.

This time, I had a D&C. It was necessary because I was so far along.

If you have questions, please call your Doc. If anything it'll give you piece of mind.

I am so sorry you are going through this. I agree with the other ladies - it is so hard to say because every woman is different - but any time you are concerned you should call your doctor. I really hope this will be over for you soon.

Sorry Morgan you are going through this. Maybe we will both get our rainbow babies soon and be in the same DDC again.

I bled for like 7 or 8 days when I had a natural miscarry. It was heavy and horrible cramps for the first 3 days.
Then about 28 days after I stopped bleeding, I had a "period" that ended up being break through bleeding, maybe, from the miscarry. So my body was out of whack afterwards. Now just waiting on the real AF to show!

I didn't have a natural miscarriage but I bled for 3 weeks after my procedure. Like everyone says, it all just depends on the person.

For the non-chemical losses..I bled 16 days with the first, but, then started bleeding again for another 2 weeks a month later (there was a small bit of retained tissue). With the second one, I bled for 14 days.
