I have yet another post D&C question. I'm still spotting a little from my D&C over a week ago. I don't even have to wear a pad and haven't for days, but every once in a while I get brown or even red spotting when I use the restroom.

But yesterday and this morning I had alot of CM. Clear, no brown or red. So my question is, can your body be ramping up for the next AF while spotting is still occurring? How is it supposed to work, is your body suppose to expel all contents and shed everything before your hormones kick in and you start building the uterine lining back for next AF?

I think it happens different for everyone. After my D&C I counted the D&C as CD1, spotted from the D&C until about CD20, ovulated on CD25, and AF showed on CD41. But my HCG level was at 24 when AF came. So it is possible to still have some of the hormones left after AF (but that could just be because I had a molar pregnancy?) During my AF I also passed some larger clots than normal - maybe passing the rest of the tissue? Not sure if that actually answers your questions or not but that was how it happened for me
