So, this is probably stupid, but I'm worried. I had to take my car into the shop, and was a few minutes late picking it up. The shop closed at 5, and the guy told me he'd wait specially for me. I had to run- more like a jog- for about 3 blocks (long city blocks- almost half a mile). Maybe 5-7 minutes total. I did stop and walk a few times to cross streets and such.

I am NOT a runner. I do yoga. I walk 30 minutes each morning (often briskly). I also teach dance, but it's not so cardio/aerobic especially when you're teaching. I really tried to jog smoothly (mostly because I was in wedge booties). But I'm paranoid- I MIGHT be 6-7 dpo. About implantation time, if I conceived this cycle. Did I knock out the embryo? Could my 7 min lame jog have prevented me from getting or staying pregnant? IF I even am?

Relax. If you are pregnant, then running will not knock the embryo loose. I ran the Chicago marathon 10 DPO in Oct and am now 28 weeks pregnant. If running 26.2 miles did not knock it loose, your should be fine.

Thanks! Congrats on your pregnancy, AND the marathon! Very cool. I live just a few blocks from the route, on the north side, and go and cheer every year

I also think you are fine!! My doctor told me not to worry about jogging but I should try not to work out too hard too frequently because it can mess with your cycle. I don't think one day of a brief jog would hurt at all!

Fx for you!!!!!!!
