*Update* Definitely more m/c bleeding. I stopped bleeding after the very light bleeding for two days last week and now this morning, I had yet another gush and passed another small piece of tissue and some clots. After that, I have had no bleeding or even spotting all day today, but it was definitely from the piece of tissue.

I am feeling so discouraged at this point. It has been since 3/28 and today is 4/20. I am coming up on a month and this isn't over yet. I have been blown off by my doctor, my midwife, and the emergency room when I went on 3/31. I am feeling like there is still something in there and I can't move on and begin TTC until it is out and I can't figure out what to do. I am going to try calling a regular OB office on Monday to see if I can finally get an U/S to see what is left in there and possibly have them do a D&C or whatever needs to be done to finish this. It is an emotional slam to me today that I am having such a hard time dealing with. I had really started to think this had ended and I could start looking forward to trying again.

So, I had exactly 4 days with no bleeding or spotting and then I started spotting again yesterday and now I have light bleeding. I am on CD20 and I typically have 30 day cycles. Could I be having my first post m/c period, or would this be considered more bleeding from the miscarriage? I did have retained placenta, which is why I bled so heavily for so long. I am so hoping this is AF and not more m/c. I was shocked to wake up to full on bleeding rather than just spotting this morning. No cramping though, which is nice, just confusion.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but honestly it sounds like it could be either to me. Maybe someone else has more insight? I hope you get your answer soon!

Now I am not entirely sure. No bleeding last night and none this morning, not even spotting. I am so unsure of my body these days, that I sort of wonder if the bleeding will pick back up later today, or if it is done. I changed my chart to "spotting" for yesterday. There was significant amounts of blood on the tp when I wiped (sorry about that), but I never did end up putting a pad on, or using a tampon. With the temp shift, it looks a little like ovulation, but I honestly just have no flipping clue right now. Sigh...

Ok, definitely AF and CD2. I just want my body back to normal. A 20 day cycle is not even close to normal for me.

Aaaaaaannnnnnnd the cramping has begun.

Ditto here! After my D&C I had mild spotting for 5 days. Then a week later I had bright red spotting just 1x. Then a week after that bright red spotting 1x followed by a day of brown spotting (Sorry TMI) then a week after that bright red spotting 1x. The next day brown spotting. The next day AF full on, heavy flow for 5 days.

So all in all, it took 4 weeks after D&C for AF to show, but the intermittent spotting made me nuts.

I would say that it is first post m/c cycle. It really is a good thing, it means that your body is ready to get back to normal. Fingers crossed for a BFP for you!

sorry you are going through this. But I think AF showing may actually be a good thing, kind of like a reset button and is showing that your body is healing. Fx for you that this cycle will bring you your sticky BFP!

Ok, so after being at work all day, I would say it is extremely light flow. Not sure what to call it at this point. I am going to put Light in for yesterday and today in Fertility Friend, but who the heck knows. I just feel so betrayed by my body these days. I just keep hanging on praying that things straighten out.
