Hi Everyone,

I'm Julie, been lurking these boards for a couple months and finally decided to join and introduce myself.

I've been with my husband for 8 years, married for 4 of those. Wanted a baby for the last 5 years so bad that it hurt. Finally early on in the new year, I convinced my husband that we weren't getting any younger, and it was time to start our family.

I have long (sometimes up to 56 day) cycles and was worried I would have trouble conceiving.

When I got a positive result on an HPT on March 1, I was ECSTATIC! First cycle! WOW!

...Until I started bleeding at work the next day and went to the hospital to have my HCG levels done. Miscarriage. Chemical Pregnancy. Whatever you want to call it. I was broken!

Picked ourselves up and are trying again though, just like all you wonderful ladies are doing! After two months of lurking, I'm glad to finally have joined. Hoping that these boards can help keep me sane during our journey to baby!

Hi Julie! I'm sorry for your loss. I'm glad you joined us.

I'm Susan, 32. We had been trying for about 4 years, and got our first positive in Feb. I had a missed miscarriage, and a D&C in the end of March.

Good luck to you.

Hi Julie,

I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard to go through even if it is early/chemical. That is how most of my losses have been.

Good luck TTC again!

Welcome and big hugs to you. I'm sorry you have to be here, but glad you are looking forward and can join the board for support and encouragement.

I'm Mel, 33, married for 6 years. We've been ttc for less than a year and have had 3 losses (1 mmc, 1 slow grower and 1 blighted ovum). Nuts, I know.

Hi Julie,
I'm so sorry for your loss, any loss no matter how early is devastating! The ladies in this group are the best support system and I couldn't have made it through my losses without them!
I had two losses last year (April and July), a missed m/c at roughly 9 weeks and my second m/c was at 6-7 weeks. Took me a lot of time to recover mentally but in December we got pregnant with our Rainbow baby (after more than a year of trying) and he is now almost 24 weeks and due in August.
One thing that helped me (a bit anyways) was when a friend that had gone through a m/c as well told me that it the good news is I know I can physically get pregnant. It doesn't make it any easier but it does help to know that there are no issues.

Don't give up on your dream of being a mom, vent on here if you're having a rough day (we all have them and it definitely gives you some relief to get the feelings out), ensure you have a good Dr, and enjoy all the "fun" you get to have with your hubby in the baby making process

Wow! Glad to know everyone is so welcoming.

Hoping to get my BFP SOON! Was really rough on me to go through a chemical. It's funny that I didn't know much about how often they happen to regular, completely healthy people but I just knew that getting pregnant on my first month of trying was too good to be true.

Hoping for a sticky one next round, and like someone above said, I'm Glad to know I'm physically capable of getting pregnant.

Can't wait to get to know all you girls!
