but that's all it was. No surgery or polyp removal. I was put under with anesthesia and everything. Once the doctor got inside of my uterus with the camera all that he saw was a blood clot (possibly left over from a period?) and flushed it out with the fluids they use while doing the procedure. I was so surprised to hear this when I woke up. Don't you think they should be able to tell the difference b/w a blood clot and something that looks like a polyp while doing the sonohysterogram? Very strange indeed.
Well, at least I know I have a "beautiful and flawless" (in my doctor's words) uterus! That part makes me happy! I even got to see some pictures of what the inside of my uterus looks like. The nurse said it was beautiful too... And I didn't have to have anything surgically removed. But still...that was quite a bit of stress to have to go through just for a blood clot!
