Still no temp spike. UGH! My OPK was almost positive again today... c'mon eggie!! I'm so over this. The past 3 cycles have been jacked up... I guess everything's really been out of whack since my m/c in June. Why cant' things normalize - how long does that take!

No I'm actually trying to restrict my soy intake because I have hypothyroidism, and have read that it wasn't good to eat a lot of soy when ttc w/ this condition. I typically eat a good amount of soy protein (tofu, boca, etc) as I'm a pescatarian so that's been a little change in diet.

Have you talked to the doctor about it at all? I would think they would want to run some testing to see what is going on. Whether it be your hormones or whatever. I know it has to be so frustrating for you (I've been there hun).

It is so frustrating waiting to "normailize" after a loss. The amount of time is different for everyone and depends on your situation. After my first loss it took about 4 months for things to go back to more or less normal. After the second loss things seem to be back on track right away but I am not positive. It never hurts to give your doc a call just to check in. Did you already confirm your HCG was back to zero?

HCG is def. zero - I've had 3 or 4 AFs since my m/c and multiple negative urine and serum tests. I was going to wait until Dec. to make an appointment with an RE so that it was 6 months of really trying after the m/c. I also don't have an OB anymore, I refuse to go back to the one I had because of her office staff. I should probably go ahead and try to get an appointment with the RE in December though, is it like most specialists in that it takes forever to get in??

My advice is to start with a new OB. Find one you like and see what they say. They can always do preliminary testing before the RE. Once your pregnant again that will be one less thing you have to worry about. You will have established a relationship with your doctor, you know what I mean? Your RE will usually "graduate" you to your OB once your 8-12 weeks along in your pregnancy. This way too if you don't like the OB the first time you visit with them, don't go back. Find another one and try again until you find one that works best for you. Hope that helps!
