So Brandie asked me to share this with you since she has been so super busy.
"Dr's when they do all your blood work, they don't test your vitamin d. Well, my fertility Dr found out through many years of study that without the right amount of vitamin d, we can not carry a child for long. He said, humans could even die if there vitamin d gets to low. So since all we now is wrong with me during pregnancy is low progesterone and he gives me progesterone pills and so far they haven worked he decided to run a panel for my vitamin d. Your number is supposed to be 30 or higher. Mine came back at only 7. Which made him very surprised that I'm not very ill. Anyways, he put me on 50,000 iui of vitamin d per week. So tell the girls to please request to have there vitamin d checked. He said something that simple could be the cause of so many miscarriages"
2 beautiful angels with me and 6 angels up in heaven.
Oh wow! 7 is really low. Glad they caught that. I agree and think everybody needs to get their D levels checked. I had mine checked for the 1st time at the fertility center this past July and it was only a 14 which is also deficient. I started on a supplement and made it a point to get more sunlight each day. In only 3 weeks, my levels rose to 40!
