So, I has my first miscarriage on sept. 29 and the DandC procedure was done on oct. 18. Dr. said it was best to wait one cycle before trying again but I've been reading about women getting pregnant again immediately after procedure. But I'm not "normal", I don't ovulate...so has anyone had a miscarriage and followed up with a pregnancy quickly after miscarriage and they do not ovulate? Sorry if that's confusing... I just was curious if it has happened.

Thanks y'all

Had* not has....sorry for the grammatically error. Thanks again!

I'm so, so sorry to hear about your loss. It is recommended to wait a month after a D&C, to allow your uterine lining to fully heal. Having a normal cycle will demonstrate that you don't have any scar tissue, and that the lining will be thick & healthy enough.

Do you bleed regularly, without ovulating?

I'm so sorry for your loss

Did you take a medication to induce ovulation for the last pregnancy?

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have seen women get pregnant right away and go on to have healthy babies without ever getting a period after a loss. I have see others have another loss right away or take awhile. It really depends on your body. As far as not ovulating, have they done testing to see why your not? Praying you get a BFP quickly!

I agree with Katie I have seen it happen all different ways for different ladies. My doctor actually did not say we needed to wait at all after my last D&C but she did have me wait after the first. I think it all depends on your specific situation so you just have to think about whatever advice your doctor gave you and then make the best decision for you. I so hope you get your BFP soon.

I do not have regular periods, and my OBGYN found, via charting, that I don't not ovulate. I've had to take Clomid three times before getting pregnant and the hubs and I wanted to see if we could get pregnant quickly again without Clomid. So I was curious if there were any other women who do not ovulate and have had to take Clomid to ovulate, had a miscarriage, and got pregnant quickly after miscarriage without Clomid.

Thank you all sooo much for your help and care. Really appreciate it!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage in August and had to have a D&C. I've only gotten AF once since then, but I've gotten some positive OPKs. I'm sorry that I don't have any insight to your question, but I just wanted to offer support. TTC can be so confusing and frustrating.
