I'm a couponer.. but not one of the crazy hoarder people. I use thegrocerygame.com - it's $5/mo and tells me what coupons to use for what deals... we usually save more than we spend, which is nice

I use coupons! I love to coupon but lately it's very hard to do I also try to make our food at home.. we do not eat out much. We both hunt for deer, turkey, pheasant, goose, duck, rabbits etc. So the only think I buy in the store for meat is usually chicken.

We have started making bulk meals and freezing the right portion sizes for later meals. That way we save some money by buying bigger portions of things and we also save because we eat out less when we have easy freezer options.

I always try to coupon but I must not be very good at it because I never seem to save much.

We bought half a cow and split it with my parents. It ended up being less than 3.50/ pound for organic grass fed beef when I was paying 6.99 + depending on cuts. TOTALLY worth it!
