It was 36 degrees here this morning with additional windchill, which is downright COLD for central Florida! Especially since we don't own stuff like hats and gloves and heavy jackets. Thankfully it's supposed to be in the 80s this weekend.

Our heat's set for 72 but it's currently only keeping it up to 70. We live in a log cabin and it's really drafty, will definitely have a big fire going tonight in the fireplace!

It was 15 degrees in Oklahoma this morning. We have ice and a few inches of snow on top of it. It is TOO dang cold and I'm ready for summer!

Right now at 12:30 it is 26 feels like 17. It's cold but thank God we don't have any precipitation. Sunny and cold! We have the heat at 70. It isn't super warm but it's just me and my youngest home. He's upstairs playing and it's much warmer up there

Temp is -6 with a feels like -28 because of the windchill.. It was -16 last night with a windchill of -43... BRRRRRR! With about 15-18 inches of snow on the ground.. BLAH!!!! Haha..

Our house is usually set around 72.. I think it's up a little because of the super cold last night and today!

It was somewhere around 14 deg. F last night here and right now it's only 18F. One of our pipes froze in our master bathroom, but luckily I talked my DH in to dripping the faucets (for some reason it took some coaxing), and it didn't burst

We like it cold I sleep much better that way. While we are sleeping, we keep the heat set to 64 and I think it's at like 67 when we're up and around.

Currently it is -2 with a windchill of -19. This morning it was -14 with a windchill of -40. We currently have just under 2 feet of snow on the ground but it is blowing and drifting so there are some drifts that are 4-8 feet deep.

We try to keep our house between 70 and 72. It has been a little harder the past few days thought.

It's currently -3.
With the windchill, it's -20
We have about 2 feet of snow on the ground, with drifts up to 3 feet or so.

I had a snow day yesterday and a cold day today off of school/work, lol!

We normally keep our house at about 70ish but today our poor furnace can only get it up to about 65/66.

I brought in our space heater from our covered porch and I'm snuggled up with my pooch under a blanket. I should probably get up though and get something done, lol!!

When I woke up this morning it was 14 feels like 5...which is unheard of for south Alabama! They were saying it was going to be record lows, but I'm not sure if we did beat the record or not.

Our power was out this morning but came back on. I have a lot of friends here whose power is still out. We just aren't equipped for the cold at all.

Usually keep the heat about 68 during the day and at night downstairs I do 66 because the heat really pumps into the masterbedroom and just fries me. Upstairs I keep around 68-69 at all times.

Morgan, my sisters went to college in Mobile and I spent a lot of time there. I can't picture it that cold!

It is -8 here with a windchill of -30. School was canceled, which almost never happens here because we are used to snow and cold, but this is pretty extreme, even for us. Our upstairs pipes froze last night, and we had to thaw them in the basement with a hair dryer. I told DH he can never make fun of how much time I spend on my hair again because it was my megawatt hair dryer that saved us. Still, it was an experience I don't care to even go through again. LOL

We keep the house at about 68 or so.

Yesterday it was -5 and with the windchill -28 (which is cold for here) School was cancelled! Today it's 3 and still cold

We usually have ours set to 71-72 but our heat can't keep up with the cold and it's currently 64

Butterfly, one of our bathroom pipes froze up last night and because of you, I immediately was like "USE MY BLOW DRYER!!" Lol it worked great. We're used to the freezing cold and tons of snow here, too, and we've had the past 3 days off of school!! I think today is off because of the ice. All of the roads are like ice skating rinks. Idk if its because the salt they normally use doesn't work in temps this low or what.

We're in the mid-60s today and I am SO happy! I don't know how any of you guys tolerate such bitter cold. It's hard here though when it gets in the 30s because no one has the right kind of gear; took the kids to homeschool PE yesterday and there were actually kids there in fleece Halloween costumes, attempting to stay warm LOL
