I would just ask for your prayers, good thoughts, whatever it is that you do! I am praying that she has an idea about what's going on with me and maybe a plan? To make sure that if we do get pregnant again that we stay pregnant. If nothing else at least she can give me her input on the cysts, weight gain and hormonal issues that I have had all since the last mc. Thanks ladies!! I have to leave in about 45 mins.

Oh do you think if I asked for a blood hcg they would be able to detect anything this early? It's like 8-9 dpo

Praying your appointment goes well today! I'm not sure if it would show in your HCG but she might not order it. It never hurts to ask though Update us as soon as you can!

She was very nice. She said honestly she doesn't have a whole lot of answers about why I have had the mc's. She said if I do have another she will refer me to a perinatologist. She also did a beta and tsh and prostaglandin? I don't know what that will show but it something. She looked at my cervix and said it looks good.. Felt my ovaries and said everything felt fine. I guess I am just waiting on that blood work and then we can see what it says. She said she wouldn't classify me as having recurrent miscarriage until we have another so I count that visit as positive. She seemed upbeat and so I will be upbeat too! Oh and I FINALLY haven't gained any weight in over 2 weeks! Yay. Since the last mc I have gained a total of 9 lbs. crazy but I am hoping things will start going back to normal. She seemed please with my cycle going down to 30 days last month and that I Od on cd 15.

Thanks again ladies! You guys truly are THE BEST BOARD ON HERE

Sweet!! Glad you liked her - I'm glad she's running some labs (did you ever get CD3 labs done in the past?).. and I'm glad she's optimistic! KUP on that labwork!

Sounds like a great appointment!! The one thing they are checking you for is actually Prolactin level (Prolactin). My RE actually checked that level because it can affect your cycle ALOT. Keep us posted on how your blood work comes back.

Glad it went well... I ended up gaining about 40 pounds after my two losses, between the hormones and the depression. It's like adding insult to injury isn't it?? I hope that you can develop a good working relationship with this doc and get some answers and results!

So glad you liked her and she's willing to take a closer look! I really hope everything goes back to normal for you and you can get that BFP quickly.

Isn't great when you can find someone who will listen to your concerns and is willing to work with you. I am so glad that your appointment went so well.

So happy for you that you found someone you like!!! I have yet to find a doctor I like and feel like I can trust.
I gained a lot of weight after my two losses. I know that I tend to gain weight when I'm depressed though so I wasn't surprised..and I had already started to gain weight with my first pregnancy so that added to it.. It's like..seriously, as if losing my babies wasn't enough!! I know it's frustrating. And the last thing you feel like doing is dieting right now.
